There are a huge number of dreams in my memory.. although I probably won't remember each of them without some sort of provocation. However, I'm going to start my journal with my dream from last night, and not bother backdating.
My journal was originally in OneNote, so I'm just going to paste it over.
Err.. this makes references to the Bone comic series and the Smallville TV series.
I was Fone Bone and somehow at my fathers's apartment. Grandma Ben killed a pizza boy in the pizzeria we were in (and, I think, seduced them first), and got mad and thought I was strange when I got freaked out at the death (much like the chicken head scene in Bone). I than began to run away, out of the pizzeria, and down main street (in my town), which was decently well-lit do to the street lights. Not many cars were going by. I ran up to that place where there's always a hill in my dreams (right by the river, the sidewalk curves up sharply in my dreams, much more sharply than in reality). Right before I hit the river area, I thought "Wait, this is a dream", and, immediately, running became easier. I then did an RC of plugging my nose, which actually indicated I was awake (I even got the slight chest constriction that occurs when you plug your nose for a bit). Disappointed that my RCing was failing, I continued on, thinking "that's stupid. It seems redundant if I know it's a dream. I wonder why the RC failed." I then proceeded to jump very high, levitate a bit, and try to run fast (which failed). I think it's at this point I became Smallville's Clark Kent.
As Clark Kent, I had some guy's football jersey on, I think as a congratulation for joining the football team. He was a mix between Whitney and Lex Luthor. He wanted to take a train South, and I wanted to stop him for some reason. So I tried chasing him to the train station. I ran by this car with two stupid guys drinking in it, which I can only imagine would've been the comic relief to this "chase-scene"-type action. As we were running by the tracks to the station, I tried super-speeding onto the train ahead of him, but it failed (I tried slowing time to super-speed). We reached the boarding platform at the Stouffville GO Station, and we got on a bus (which was somehow a train on the outside, but it had the look and feel of a bus on the inside), and I realized I had no money. I tried to super-speed back home to get my wallet, but failed again. When I got back to the main train station, I ran into Lana, who was crying about the Whitney/Lex guy being dead or something. I took off the Jersey he had given me and handed it to his friends in mourning.
My dreamsigns I notice from this were
Grandma Ben
Fone Bone
My apartment building looked weird
The platform across from my apartment building
The pizzeria was very different
Steep uphill curve
Superpowers and pretty much everything past that point
My recurring dreamsigns were
The platform across from my apartment building. There IS a deck there in reality, but this platform looks like an addition was made on the building, there's bird crap on it, and it's made of cement. I often jump onto it in dreams.
The steep uphill curve by the river on main street often occurs in my dreams
My dreams on main street are usually at night. It may be because I rarely go along main street during the day.
Superpowers are almost always in my dreams. These are a dead giveaway for me.. rightfully so.
The numbness in my body is typical of dreams. I think most of my physical sensation still comes from my physical body, because I never feel cold either, I just feel sort of warm and numb (as my body does under my blanket).
Oddly, nothing "tipped me off" that it was a dream. It just hit me that I should ask myself, and I realized I was dreaming. I find it odd that the RC failed when I already knew I was dreaming (of course, that could've been why. It's hard for me to expect it to work improperly, and I'd have more control if I already knew it was a dream).
