Crazy Portal /Portal 2 themed dream control

I've had a crazy multi-tiered semi-lucid dream today. I was able to go through walls and look at the dream from within a wall, which suddenly became transparent while I was inside. It is a very cool experience, as the DCs cannot effectively see you - they are looking at a wall, while you see them clearly.

While within the wall, I kept going "deeper" away from the dream (by accident), and ended up in a different dream. Dream-within a dream - within a dream. A total of 4 levels. Kinda like Russian nested dolls, where I was going from the inside out

Within these dreams I encountered 2 wall archetypes - a black curtain - the end of a dream, which I could not get through and a one sided wall - it left me in the same dream, kinda like a Portal game blue and orange portals.

The last (outermost) dream caught up on my "wall hacking", and a dream character announced that these walls are linked - going through one resulted in me appearing in the same room on the other side. other walls allowed me to "stay inside them", while these were paper thin and always dropped me in the same dream.

After multiple attempts to get through a wall, I finally went through one and appeared outside a skyscraper building in the same dream. Naturally, I started falling, but when I hit the pavement, I did not black out, but went "through" the pavement, appearing in the same dream room that I just exited. The momentum from the fall kept pushing me forward, resulting in a series of exit the wall, enter the floor - exit the wall loops. (Think portal where you jump from high up, drop in a portal, come out of another portal up high, and drop from portal to portal, kind of like in a loop. After a series of such scene reentries, I ended up on "level 1" - the simplest innermost dream that I started from. Within that dream I had fake memories of looking at it through the wall. After a few minutes, I woke up and had to record this crazy wall experience.

Has anyone else encountered these wall archetypes or went from a dream to dream by going through walls?

sounds fun, can't say I've gotten to use portals that often, though I have occasionally. I think that goes for most people.

you should portal through a church service and out the other side going "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

There are 2 portal inspired themes in this dream. One is jumping from up high, falling down and rather than going "splat", coming out from some other surface with the same velocity. While there are no blue and orange circles, the concept is the same. Normally I black out when falling from up high. Here, surprisingly, there was no fear and the whole process was seen as "normal". The second theme is being stuck in a loop - going from one surface, falling into the other, and coming out of the first one. Pretty much perpetual falling between two surfaces. As for an evil female dream character locking me in a room with no exit, I also think this was kinda related.

Sorry for not using futuristic looking portal devices or playing with potato powered electronics...

Brings back the memories. A month ago, when Portal 2 came out, I played it a ton. It changed my mindset to actually think with portals, so whenever I was out in public and saw a white wall, I'd think about placing a portal there. Sure enough, it happened in my dreams, too. Doesn't happen much anymore, though. Now i'm on LA Noire, and I keep dreaming about telling that people are lying or telling the truth, etc.
