Flying

Hey im new to the forum, so bare with me if im stating or asking stuff thats been stated. Ive been, as i like to put it, involved in the dream world for a decent amount of time now (about 6 years or so) and ive never really delved into what things could mean or how i can acheive things, beyond talking with friends. But i noticed that on the main page to this site it stated flying as being something that experts attain and that its very hard to do. Now i feel im not an expert at all, however i feel i have a natural inclination twoards LDing, and controling my dreams mainly becuase it happens to me constantly without trying. THat being said, ive flown many times in my dreams, and most of the time i dont give it much thought, however it seems that sometimes when irealize im in a dream and ir eally try to fly like focusing really hard, i cant. which to me makes no sense becuase if its all about beleiving than whats the deal here, i mean i definately beleive. Now i havent been able to try this out but i have a feeling it will work, because it happened to me in a ld that i cudnt necisarrily control the other day. Try associationg something with flying, like a pair of sunglasses, or a hat, make it so that u belevie that when u wear that hat or sunglasses you can fly. I plan on trying this myself next time i have a lucid dream that i can control, but i figured you guys might be interested.

I am with you, flying is not at all difficult. All you need is faith and trust, forget about the pixie dust, not really needed I began flying in my lucid dreams many years ago, but doubted myself, so I had some amount of trouble. Now, it seems a natural as walking to me.

You have only get youself bilive to you can fly. After that you only try fly in your dream

I agree that it's really not that difficult -- at least to get off the ground. Now, controlling your flight is another matter. But it may seem easy to me because I used to fly in my non-lucid dreams since I was a kid, so doing it a lucid dream sort of came naturally, I guess.

Yes, if you believe you can do it because you know you are dreaming then yes you can easily fly. If you go about it thinking its a difficult task you wolnt go anywhere.
