Dream Control insanely difficult for some reason?

      Hi guys,

I haven't bothered getting LDs in a while - or recording dreams for that matter. So like 2 days ago I started getting back into it only to fall asleep completely and not recall any dreams at all.

So today I went for an afternoon nap and had about 6 LDs. Some DILD some WILD.

      So, my point...

For the first I was simply too excited and just woke up after realizing I was dreaming. I took a deeeeeep breath to try and relax only to wake on my bed.

Then I managed a wild, but when I opened my eyes I realized my co-ordination was just screwed up and I felt heavy and useless. I was not handicapped in any way. I dragged myself over to the mirror and lold at my face some but that was all I could manage to do.

The next (I can't recall how it was induced) was still feeling heavy and useless. I actually managed to stand up this time but I realized that I had this tingling sensation that was just so overwhelming and it was very difficult to focus and maintain my lucidity. I kept going from almost losing it to sleep and almost losing it to waking.

Then I finally got most of my co-ordination going and I was able to do everything I would be able to in normal waking life (apart from seeing some weird scenery of course) and then at long last I was in complete control again after realizing I was dreaming in flight - which just killed all other limitations.

So, my question is, everytime I start trying to LD again after long periods of time I always seem to have this limitation and I need to have a series of dreams to regain full control. The tingling sensation I talked about also always seem to persist when I become lucid and makes it hard to not wake up - or fall asleep.

Tips? I find this annoying and the nuisance is mainly the reason why I stop bothering with my dreams for long periods of time. :[

It reminds me of sleeping limb's, and that makes me think it's something similar in cause, perhaps there isn't enough circulation of dream control as opposed to blood. Try practicing meditation in waking life and it may translate to a better composure instead of overexcitement. Try controlling the vividness of the dream by paying attention to your surroundings; things smell like they do irl? are the textures realistic, what sounds surround you, try all your senses then make use of the dream physics before you forget you can. The heavy feeling for me usually means I'm not thinking clear enough for it to feel normal.
