Harry Potter has entered dream world!

I only just noticed that the method many people use to teleport is almost identical to apparition in the Harry Potter series (mainly the last book). This consists of thinking about the place you will end up. Spinning around in a circle. Appearing in your new location. Maybe J.K. Rowling had found out how to apparate in her dreams and used that knowledge in her books...

Interesting observation Science-fiction movies represent teleporting in a technological way, involving molecular structure that are deconstructed and then rebuilt elsewhere. A sort of medium that transmits molecules, rather than radio waves. For instance, in "Star Trek" the method of teletransporting was technological. Harry Potter and other fantasy works refer more to dream-like and magical methods. In the books by Castaneda the "teleporting" is related to dream too. Juan Matus, the sorcerer who teaches Castaneda, was described as capable of moving from place to place thanks to dreaming, if I remember well. eXistenZ 0 Lucid Dreams, but hoping

Maybe imagining one of these methods while LDing could help out people who can't teleport. If you are familiar with any of these books/movies you could just tell yourself that you are in this environment and use the appropriate form of teleportation.

Diablo2 - teleporting is my new and favorite way. In 1st person it's like a wave of energy moves up your body and as it crosses your vision everything below the wave is in your new location and everything above is still in the old location. I think I get most of my lucid powers from video games, just because I've seen it done before
