      Overlapping View

After a false awakening I got lucid and found myself in my room. Everything was detailed and very sharp.
When I got outside my view shifted like never before and kinda blurred. It looked like the image below, where the green part was the room I just left and the red part were some new impressions from outside.

I felt like my two eyes were in different locations and my brain just put both images together.
I couldn't focus on one single situation and got lost trying to clear my view again. I said out loud what I wanted to happen, closed my eyes and when I opened them again nothing has changed.

Did this ever happen to anyone else and how can I control this situation?

      Thanks in advance

Sounds pretty strange to me! Maybe you left an eyeball behind, next time go look for it and plop it back into your head, and all shall be well again!

It just dropped under my bed while getting up I guess
      Very strange experience for sure!

That's pretty interesting experience. Reminds me of one short lucid where i was looking at single spot from three different positions at same time. Haven't got to control it though since dream faded out, but it should be possible to control, everything is possible in dream!
Just an idea, next time if it happens try using some form of telekinesis to move 'second eye'.

Imagine we could control this and set up a 4 player split screen style view to have a few dream scenes at once
That's definitely something I want to try soon.

It's happened to me a few times when scenes were transitioning. Come to think of it, it happened a few times while teleporting too.

When it happens I re-focus, sometimes it involves clarifying where I want to go, who I'm trying to get to, sometimes it involves creating/drawing/building an entirely new destination (for those rare occasions where I don't care where I go, just that I need a swift exit from where I am).

I know you said you verbalized it, closed and reopened your eyes and it didn't work for you. You might need a stronger anchor to get you to your desired state of being.
