I have noticed on this forum that people try and use spinning to change things in there LD. |

Tips For Newbies | What to do in an LD
Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.
I have never heard of this it sounds very powerful ! The only way I have tried is to close my eyes and say 'change now!' several times . When I open my eyes at first everything looks the same but when I look closer there are subtle changes towards the way I wanted things . I am only a beginner though and am very limited in the kind of control I can exert . You sound much more advanced . |

Well prety much all the dreams I remember are lucid. To me dreams are just my own world where I can controll everything. I have always had some degree of controll. But this ability only came about in the last few years. |

I am amazed this comes so naturally to you , I always thought that people had to really struggle to get any dream control and keep working on it . In my own experience there seem to be psychological mechanisms which work against my efforts .They try to prevent dream control and sometimes appear personified as sinister figures or forces in my dreams and try ot wrest control away from me . (as I described in other posts ) |

Well the funny thing is that I dont always try to controll my dreams. I prefer to see where they take me. The only time I do try and controll them is when something in the dream bothers me. Or the dream is just booring. In which case I'll just shatter the entire dream and let my subconcious make me another. The only time I can remember feeling out of controll was one time I shattered a dream, and I went to this place in the sky looking down on a fortress. I dident like the place but I feelt like I had built it at some point. I wanted to shatter it. But I was to afraid of what may come out of it if I did. The only thing I could do to get away was to wake up. |

Hey there, sounds like a cool idea. CAn you please elaborate on exactly how you shatter the scene? I know it may be difficult. But if you do your best to explain, I'll do my best to understand |

Do yo Shatter the whole dream scene or each individual object. Sounds exhausting. I think I will stick to Spinning because I am Lazy. |

Well explaining how I do it is difficult. I just do it realy. It's just the way that made sence to me. I have always beed a lucid dreamer but I never had anyone to tell me how to do things. Its just the way I came up with to chamge things. Basicaly what I do in a dream is I,ll hold out my dream hand at what i want gone and I,ll make it shatter. Other than that I don't know how to explain what I do. It just sorta came to me one time and I have done it ever sence. I can shatter just one thing or the entire dream. When I shatter an entire dream its sorta like changing the channel on a TV. I hope that helps. |
