      Prolonging WILD

So far I have managed 4 sucessful WILDs but I am having trouble making them last beyond just a few minutes. I have tried the spinning and rubbing my hands together as well as asking for "clarity" but that only seems to stabilize the dream initially. Any suggestions?

The best way to prolong a LD that started as WILD is to reenter it. Once your experience ends and you find yourself in bed or in semidream darkness state, you can focus on the last scene of the experience or the one next to the end. Stop all motion in the scene and just visualize it for about a minute. It is very important to maintain concentration on that scene and avoid thoughts/distractions/whatever. After about a minute you will reenter the scene or experience another WILD. I've used this method to reenter LDs / WILDs up to 5-6 times!

I wrote a tutorial on this a while back, it is a bit out of date by now, but there are still some good pointers on how to reenter dreams. It's in the tutorial section.

From the other, duplicate topic (which I will remove):
