      Passive dream powers

since i've started this dream journal of mine I started noticing certain things about my dream. Sometimes either during a fight, sports or action, I'll have the ability to slow down time, jump really high, and do acrobatics that i cant do in the real world. This is when I'm totally none lucid. Anyone else like that?

I think he was referring to, although I may be wrong, the ability to have these lucid powers passively.
Ie. not having to concentrate to use them.

Well often when I'm not lucid and i'm in a bad situation in a dream, I find that whatever I wish would happen to get me out of the situation happens. Like once people were chasing me out of a mall, and when I got outside, they drew guns, so I jumped on top of the building...which was about 3 stories.

I have had super strength when trying to save my friend from a collapsed roof, and I have used telekinesis when I wished I could...passively. I understand what you mean. I was not lucid any of those times. It's a pretty interesting concept. Oddly, none of those "powers" lead me to lucidity heh.

More often than not in my Non-Lucid's I go about normally as I would in real life although the most common ability that I may use in a non-lucid is flight and that's about it for me.

I have read on the site about other people who in their Non-Lucid's have used all of their Lucid abilities and not went lucid telekenesis, flight, summoning, walking through walls, etc.

uber-running. low to the ground like an animal, pushing off the ground with my legs, using my arms to change direction, tirelessly sprinting about. it's awesome. feels like trying to run along the bottom of a pool but is much faster and with no water/air resistance.

It might be your will power.
While you dream the power you posses is infinite.
When you are chased by someone (Which happened to me many times) the fear promotes your will to act in the paranormal way.
When we see no escape that means actions must be taken.
Once you over power the subconscious with your Will, it will unlock you to use these abilities without having an LD.
People who are able to use these abilities without having a LD are very gifted people with a strong will.

      Hi,

Among a nomber of powers, I also have the power to do "acrobatics" (as you say) in dreams. My body is extremely flexible, and I can pirouette in the air and do all sorts of mad jumps I would never be able to do in this reality!

I've only been like that in semi-lucid dreams though.

      !

You know ever since I have been LD'ing this has happened to me. I may not be lucid but I act as if I am and my dreams are starting to go in different directions.

For ex: I had a zombie dream recently. I was killing them all as they were trying to get into my apartment. Usually I would freak out, the would get in and I would go form place to place hiding and running for my life.
This time however I was in the kitchen and I needed knives and they appeared..they were coming in through the back sliding glass door and I didnt like that so all of a sudden I look again and the door is shut and has a HUGE metal bolt on it preventing them from coming in.

Again I wan't lucid but my dreams were responding as if I was.

I like it though..It kinda makes up for the nights that I dont LD. I still wake up happy because I had a kickass dream.
Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives.

To deny may be just as dangerous and misleading as to accept.
