So I have had several LDs since I joined, but I have never been able to control them like I wanted to. I would usually find myself saying, "Oh, this is a dream! Cool!" and then just going on with my business like nothing unusual had just happened. Then I would wake up and be pissed for missing my opportunity to do something great.

If this sounds like the problem you have, [READ THIS POST by BillyBob 001!!!] He teaches you how to focus down on the dream and make it 10x as good.

I would usually just walk around in a hazy surrealistic world without the ability to do anything I wished. A couple days after reading BillyBob's article, I had the best LD yet. I had reaized that I was dreaming so I sat down in the corner of a bland room with blue carpet and white walls. I tried focussing on my hands like BillyBob suggested, but it didn't seem to work for me. So I just focussed on the little bumps of fabric in the carpet, and that worked great. All of a sudden it was like my view expanded out of a sort of tunnel vision. Everything was extremely colorful and realistic, and I could get up and walk around and stuff. It was awesome!! It felt so easy.

So read his article and make sure to thank him if it works for you. Also, if you could respond to this post and let me know how it goes for you, that would be cool. Goodluck!

Thanks for this, I would never have found that if it wasnt for you!

I think that is exactly what I need since rubbing/spinning has failed me twice each.

No problem. Your advice makes sense and works great, so thank you.

However, It has been about two weeks since my last lucid and I am having a hard time getting lucid again. I don't know if it is like this for anyone else, but every time I get lucid I think, "Man! That is so easy! How come I've been having such a hard time with it?" And I think I have finally figured it out, but then I try the next night and just sleep the night away... I guess I should probably start my DJ up again. It does get easier right? Anyone have any advice?
