Please don't take this poll if you have not had at least one lucid dream that lasted for more than 3 minutes.

Thank you for taking part 4 of my Lucid Dream Control poll

I hope you've taken parts 1-3, if not I hope you will.

I mostly don't change my dream scene willingly, I prefer to explore the one I am already in. In my first lucid dream, I changed my dream scene... my intention was to wake me up, but instead the scene changed. I've had sex in my lucids, but it makes the dream unstable most of the time. I rarely have false awakenings, but I mostly don't fall for them... or I come to my senses shortly after.

For the sex one I voted "No I can't" but I want to clarify: I technically can have sex in my lucid dreams, and have done so many times, but it tends to wake me up within like 20 seconds. I typically try to resist the urge to have sex in my lucids because I know it's pretty much a sure ticket to waking life.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has already taken my poll. . . and I hope that people continue to take it. I think the responses that are appearing are really interesting and sometimes quite unexpected.

I think it's interesting that one of the most difficult things to do for most people (at least the ones that have tried it) is crafting the exact dream scene that you want. . . I wonder why.

I've been caught having "sex" before, but I now choose not to have sex in my LD, after some DCs told me that they only wanted my "energy" and that sex was dangerous for me as an LDer.

That was enough to stop me.

Well since I'm pretty sure DCs can't steal your REAL energy no matter what you do with them. . . I wouldn't let the random things DCs say dictate your behavior in your LDs.

I think if a DC said something that creepy to me, I'd have a hard time looking at them the same way again too though.

It wasn't a "random" thing at all.. they all say it... and "pretty sure" is not good enough..

I try to change my dream scene all the time. Very rarely am I actually pleased with the damn things. They are usually changable for me. Anybody else hate most of their dream scenes?

I have never had LD sex before. xD Dammit I'm gonna try it next time.

False awakenings are my archnemesis. I usually have them every few lucid dreams, and so far I like ALWAYS fall for them. That makes me angry. AT MYSELF. xD

Wow dude, you have some hate there! You hate your dream scenes and your false awakenings. Your dreamscenes represent you! How can you hate yourself? I suppose it's easy, but stop it! Maybe by trying to create new "scenes" rather than appreciating the ones you have (Who You Are) you are experiencing the weakness of the mind compared to your Truer Essence.

False Awakenings are awesome as well. Take them by themselves rather than something that shortens or deprives your Lucid Dreams. I believe they are actually "wake up calls" which simply ask you to go deeper and rethink your previous stance. Really, you have to learn to love everything about your dreams, even the seemingly unlovable, because within it is absolute perfection... don't shoot the messenger!

      Peace,

      Rob.

Meh, I feel so bad, posting on a place that hasn't had one since last year, but oh well....

When it's come down to dream scenes, I've had none-little trouble changing it [as far as I remember]. Though, with sex, the topic's never come up in my dreams, the closest I guess would be making out, guess my mind's not really all hormonally towards it yet. And false-awakenings too, I've rarely had them and when I do, I sometimes fall for them [like the one I had a few weeks ago], though instead of fall back asleep like IRL, I usually get ready for the day regardless of the time.
