I know that as we record our dreams we gain clarity in them, and we also begin to enter a strange world of FA's SP's and other strange experiences.

I have read, and been affected by, the works of Carlos Castaneda. Specifically here, "The Art of Dreaming," in which Don Juan (Carlos' beneficiary) tells Carlos it is imparative he work to find his hands in his dreams- which takes him a very long time. (There is another thread about this technique on the forum). In the end Carlos comes to find other entities (non-DC's) entering his dreams. Long sotry short- through these other entities his DC and lucidity become so advanced he Lucids every night and adventures to strange, consistant dream worlds. At the very end of the book he encounters a very strange character (You'll have to read the book) who is so powerful they can dream entire worlds into creation and bring other people into these worlds. This entity teaches that the greatest realization the ancient Toltec peoples of Mexico discovered about dreaming was that to perfect one's lucidity and DC one had to remember what possition they had fallen asleep in (on their back, side....etc). Once in the dream world they then had to remember to fall asleep in the same position. Upon waking they would find themselves awake in a world in which they could totally control.

It seems to me that simple experience will increase our DC...but are their specific techniques to this that we can do in our dreams...like make friends with a DC who is our manifested subconscious??

Any suggestions...or experiences?

Thanks guys!

I can't really say that I've had much control in my lucids. I'm just amazed by the fact that my dream body, although feeling very real, Doesn't actually exist, only in our minds

Thats a big wow there in the first place, nevermind control. But to be honest, I would love a bit more control in my lucids.
And lucids every night wouldnt be too bad either

I once read somewhere that you can program a name for your subconscious and that makes it easyer to ask your self to lucid dream recall dreams and even go to a phone and call them (this is of coures in the dream) to ask Questions like am i gay or just talk to him/ her about stuff.

cant say if it works still programing but if you want to try just choose a name (something you wont hear every day ) and say it a lot

I've also been inspired by the works of Castaneda and spent numerous LDs trying his techniques. The one technique that I clearly remember working 100% is the "attraction flying".

For a very long time I've been trying his "see the light" technique where he converted weird deformed and out of place objects into light (I think that was light) and then asked the light to take him away. I've never got past this step...

I liked the way Carlos described the Warrior Mood or Spirit ( I dont remember exactly). It helped me a lot in my LDs.
