1.) What do I do to begin controlling my dreams?
This is where a lot of people have trouble. My solution is this: You MUST not become so tired that you basically pass out. Instead, pick a specific time to go to bed and lie down at that time and right before you feel yourself falling asleep concentrate on one thing that you wish to dream about. This will give you a greater chance of dreaming about what you want.[/b]
Ok it says that before you feel yourself falling asleep concentrate on one thing that you wish to dream about. Now I don't quite understand this...How do you know when you feel yourself falling asleep? I can't try to concentrate about one thing for so long because then I will loose track and won't realize it for awhile.

Well, if you're tired, you may feel it.
The one time I could tell I was falling asleep (it was that lucid I forgot) I was feeling somewhat happy to be sure to get a lucid, and a little weird. It was like...
Ah, I can't explain that feeling.
I suck at explaining feelings xD

Well i can tell when i'm about to fall asleep because my mind really starts to wonder. Its almost like my brain is having a conversation with itself switching from one subject to the next in my mind.

There's a state of mind you're put into that I like to call 'half-sleep'. I'll explain it more next time.

Do you have narcolepsy? From what I gather from that, you fall asleep instantly because of external stimuli, so probably. But don't quote me on that, certainly one who knows more could answer better.
