So as you can tell by my signature, I am quite new to the LD scene. I have however, had great success (In my eyes) thus far, including an LD on my first night.

I just woke up from having 2 LDs (Which was awesome) but at the same time frusturating.

90% of my LD's happen in the morning hours. ALL my LDs are fairly short, with the longest one I've had probably being 3 minutes or so, but the rest around 20 seconds, or less.

This has become frusturating, so i'm just doing alot of research in the dream controll section, and am here asking for any tips.

I rub my hands together alot, I can't really tell if that helps. I also tried looking at a few things in detail, that DID seem to help.

I notice in all my LDs after I become Lucid I begin doing something, and I dont really focus all my attention to the "dream world" I'm not just getting lost in the dream and whats happening, I catch myself worrying about waking up or wondering when I will, or immediatly worrying/trying to keep the dream lasting- and then usually shortly after I wake up. Usually my vision just slips away of the LD and I FA for a second, or just wake up.

As I will be doing more research, I appreciate any input, advice, info, DJ comments, or just a point in the right direction.

I'm kind of new to this as well but the other night I had an LD that instantly started to fade so I used some advice from this forum and looked at my hands. If you concentrate on seeing them in full detail you'll eventually end up being able to see all the detail on them. After I had them down I'd look up into the blackness around me and think of a dream world. As I started to fade out of the dream I'd look back down at my hands and get them solid again. I repeated those steps about four times until the dream world took shape. The dream lasted about 2 more minutes. It was my most vivid LD yet. So in short, always remember your hands.

also it happened around noon after waking up and falling asleep many times during the morning. I wasn't all that tired by that point.

I know exactly what you mean, as soon as i realise i can do whatever i want i start thinking - how much of a shame would it be if i woke up now! and then next thing i know im unwillingly coming round. In the longest LD ive ever had i concentrated really hard on feeling - at the time it was raining a bit and i concentrated on what the rain felt like hitting me and the air going past me. It really worked and definitely prolonged the experience.

I've already heard that spinning will extend the dream. But if you are going to wake up anyway I don't think there is anything to do about it. I had a REALLY long one last night and I felt like I was loosing it a number of times so I spun around and kept it going.
