Help summoning dream char.s, APing

I hope this is the right topic. Anyways, i had two fairly long very lucid dreams today, but i had some problems. 1) I've been meaning to try CALD (charectar assisted LD, found on LD4ALL) and I chose the perfect charecter from one of my dream charecters. I used some meditation to find him in my head. I spoke to him before i went to sleep and we agreed to try to meet in my dreams today, however he didn't show up and i was unable to bring him to my dream. I tried the close your eyes say and expect that he'll be there and open them, however, he wasn't. How do I bring DCs to my dreams? 2) In my second LD, I focused on a tech I heard about how to AP from a LD. Fly as high as you can and you'll find yourself outside your body. Tried to fly, couldn't.
