how do i make things appear(objects, people)

hello all i am new to the forum this is my first post, ive always been very intrested in dreaming and i truely beleive there is some sort of reality to it but anyway, my problem is that sometimes i can tell i am dreaming but i try to take advantage of it and i cant do anything, like whenever i realize i am dreaming i always try to make a girl i like appear, same girl every time, and i think really hard in my head like i want her to appear and i even picture her like standing there but she still doesnt appear, this isnt just for her i just wanna figure out how to take control of my dreams like i can seriousyl talk to someone in my dream and say dude i am drreaming right now and stuff so i know i realize i am dreaming i jsut cant have that like full control of it any tips? thanks

Sounds like you're getting close, but you should spend a little time solidifying the dream, and making it real for you before attempting to control too much. The moment you pop into lucidity, pause, and reflect. Reafirm to yourself that you are dreaming, and that you are in control. Look around you and take in the current surroundings. Feel your feet on the ground, concentrate on small details of the scenery you may notice. Many people like to rub their hands together, which seems to help focus as well. For me, if all goes well, there is an instant where there is a little "pop," and suddenly everything goes from hazy to clear and my senses all turn on at once. If I can get to this point, I know I have a lot more control and experience a lot more realism as well. I've found that summoning a particular person can be difficult, even after years of LDing. Often I summon the correct person, only to have them slowly turn into someone else. I think it's definitely harder than flying or teleporting, for example.

im not good at this either, but since my last LD iv got some new ways to try to spawn things...a few that sound reliable -ask a dream character where X is -(if its a person) shout for them

There is one girl I used to summon all the time years ago. I actually summoned her recently and was like, "Hey, what've you been up to all this time?!" But anyways to do that, at first I would just walk through doors, knowing she was on the other side. Sometimes I would knock and ask if she was there. After I started summoning her regularly, I just knew that I would be meeting her somewhere and she'd always be there waiting, like a dream date so to speak. If I want objects to appear, I usually just reach out of my vision and grab them. I find it very difficult to just make something appear right in front of you.

You could walk through a door, expecting the person to be there, or you could open a door. You could also walk around a corner, knowing that the person will be there. You could "find" a big box and open it up and have them be there. Just be creative. The more you believe that that person will be there, the more likely it will happen. Just be sure.

one time i had a dream i was lost in a weird shopping mall like place (didn't look like it tho) and i was there with my mom and aunt, and i suddenly just lost them, and couldn't find out where they were. (sometimes when im dreaming, and i lose someone, i go to the place they were, but it doesn't even exist anymore.) but at one point, i just started saying "i'm dreaming, i'm dreaming" repeatedly. then, i really started to beleive it, but when i really got into it, it was kind of like i blacked out, but i'm still concious, and i feel a crushing weight, like a depressing weight, and i woke up, kinda weirded out. and another time when i was little, we had kittens in my mom and dad's closet, and i went to see them, but where the would be, there was a box. i realized i was dreaming, but i got so excited i woke up. then when i was smaller i had a really weird dream where everyone i knew was a ghost. at one point, my freind died, and i thought "no, this is a dream" and i decided i really didn't like that dream, so i woke myself up. (to this day, i still dont know how. i just shut my eyes tight, and opened them to the real world.) that was the only LD i have ever sustained, ever. i want to know, what was that black weight? and how can i keep a dream going?
