      Staying in control?

      HOW?!

Out of my about 8 DILDS i always am like " HEY IM LUCID", I do something, any thing thats would be cool in a dream, then im out. I lose my lucidity. And usually i dont remember anything afterwards.

So how do i prolong lucidity?

You probably got too excited. The feeling of "Hey, I'm lucid" is really exciting, as well as whatever really cool dream control thing you are thinking about doing. As soon as you become lucid, be sure to calm yourself and fully convince yourself that you are dreaming. Do a few RCs and look around the dreamscape a little. Once you feel stable, you can - calmly - try some of your cool dream control stunts
And if you don't remember it afterwards, how do you know that you lost lucidity?

      Heya,

It can help to set active dreamgoals for yourself before falling asleep. Have a clear idea of what you want to try, what you want to pursue, when you fall asleep. I find that this will generally help me stay lucid until the goal is completed.

When you get better at this, you can begin to set longer goals, multiple goals, or even series of goals: if A succeeds then I try B, if B then succeeds I move on to C, etc...

These things can help a lot in prolonging lucidity. Without them, I find that its very easy to get distracted (actually, even with them its still easy to get distracted, just less so ) and be pulled back into regular dreaming.

      Hope that helps,

      -Redrivertears-

When you say you loose your lucidity, do you mean the dream carries on as normal or you wake up?

      Lightbulb :p Hi!!

This is what i think u should do!!!! My guess is that u tend to rush things because ur afraid the dream will end so when u get a lucid dream dont try to use any powers or feel any pressure to rush things. i think that when ur unexperienced and u use powers it kind of burns out ur dreams that happanes to me sometimes. Today i had a lucid dream and in this dream i didn't do any sored of unnatural ability. I just calmed down and took alot of deep breaths. The lucid dream lasted long all i did was eat walk and go to some room to play on a psp i found talk and it was ok!! . like a normal day i did it to see how it would feel to acctually feel the dream if u know what i mean. Try to do that at least once so u get use to long dreams maybe that'll work
