does sex in an LD result in a wet dream?

I was having sex in an LD last night but I stopped before the finish line because I thought that might result in a wet dream which would wake me up and force me to engage in some clean-up activities. Is that what really happens?

It didn't to me. All wet dreams, I can remember, weren't sexually related for some strange reason.

I've had sex dreams, but.. never anything happened. Could be because I'm a girl. Why am I even posting on here? I think its b/c I saw the word sex.... -_-

But yeah, some do, some dont. Depends how realistic the dream is, and if you can have control of it that long

Usually does, depending though, on how much you are stimulated throughout the sexual experience.

If you are a lucid beginner, you may unfortunatly, find yourself, waking up too excited, before you reach a sexual peak.

That censored tidbit is pretty gross cloudwalker! I guess it all depends upon how often you whack off, if you haven't done it for a while then that's a lot of rubbing to do...

There are so much better things that you can do in dreams than have sex. The point of lucid dreaming is to do exciting things that you can't normally do. Obviously you can't have sex with Heidi Klum, but flying around the solar system is so much more satisfying than the best dream sex.

Sex in dreams will severely shorten the length of the dream. You're focusing on one thing, singularity is the enemy in lucid dreams.

Practically everything I've ever read on this subject says that there is no direct correlation between sex dreams and nocturnal emissions.

I don't think I've ever heard of any kind of proof that doing so in a dream and doing so in a real life are connected. Except where physical stimulation is involved.

I was under the impression that wet dreams only happen when the body just needs to release some old fluid. If you don't ejaculate for a week (I think it's around there,) your body will take care of it for you in your sleep.

That's it, in a nutshell (no pun intended). (Well, pun kind of intended.)

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (in real life, that is ) It's ok, but not that great, real life or otherwise.

I have a lot of sexually charged dreams, but I never wake up with any mess, so to speak. At least in dream orgies you'd never get any mess you'd have to clean up, right? LOL!

And on the note of the topic I have never had an nocturnal emission from having sex in any of my dreams.

sounds likely that a dream orgasm might result in a wet dream. i havent had many wet dreams but they were always result of an orgasm in a dream (not lucid ones, tho)

Im reading "exploring the world of lucid dreaming" by Laberge right now. they tested it, and non of the people they tested actually ejaculated in real life, even though they did in the dream.

Generally, if you climax before you wake up, then no mess... if you climax just afterwards, or while waking up, then... mess

not that I'd know, of course...

As awoke said, the answer has been demonstrated - under controlled study conditions - to be "no". And that goes for men and women.

Okay well I will stick this one out there, it has happened to me, many a time, from a dream orgasm to actual.. So much so that if I happen to be having dream sex I will stop and wake myself up, because I don't want to have to deal with any 'mess' So I guess I must be different, that or LaBurge's study was of a small group which didn't prove this enough?

In the only wet dream I recall (it was years ago) I was dreaming about fairly conventional sexual activity with person of other sex and I awoke at the exact moment of orgasm. And guess what -- it was real.

This experience, for me, suffices to assume there is clear connection.

It sometimes happens and sometimes not. Funny enought, for me when it didn't happen I always had a false awakening with a mess in it, but no mess in real life : p

Anyway, there's only one way to find out, sluggo ; ).

Why are people so afraid of wet dreams? It's completely harmless. And about the mess, you're probably loosing significantly more fluid in the form of sweat anyways.
