      How close was I to WILD?

      I didn't do the waking up after four hours and then going back to sleep thing, I just did this right before I went to sleep.
      Thanks to the guy who wrote the WILD tutorial
      I was lying on my back in the same position for probobly ten minutes and my fingers and feet starting tingling. Probobly after an hour my arms and legs were like at too. and then after a real long while the vibrations just stopped. but I felt completlly numb, even like I was floating. I thought I might be dreaming at this point and do a reality check, but decided against it. Soon my vision, completly changed. I wasn't getting any HI, or I don't think I did. but I don't know how to explain it. Everything kind of was..hollow? I guess.
      And then suddenly my hearing completly changed, like I could only hear my breathing and heart beat.(I had ear plugs in, but this was different.)
      After a little while longer, I decided I wasn't getting anywhere with this so I figured i'll do a reality check now and if I'm awake i'll just go watch tv.
      And of coarse I break through my parylisis and plug my nose and I can still breathe.
      I followed the tutorial of the guy(forgot who) that was like, your mind and body fall asleep at different times. so you trick your body into thinking your mind is asleep, like if you ahve an itch you just resist it. so thanks to that dude!

      You could breathe even though your nose was plugged? Sounds like you completed a WILD!

      haha noo, that's what I accidently wrote. x.x
      I was saying that I failed the nose RC check.
      But if I did do the WBTB part, who far would I have been to a WILD?

      Hard to say. WBTB usually makes the WILDing process much quicker, so you may have gotten pretty far into it. One can't really be sure however unless you actually go about doing it

      I would say that you were close. Entering the lucid dream doesn't always happen, some nights it won't no matter what you do, even the best WILDers say that. I've always found that I get two waves of sleep paralysis. The first one is gentle and tingly, the second feels like I'm rocking in a boat or even can be violent like being thrown around. After that second time you are probably asleep. Your hearing changed made me think that you may have been very close.

      the exact same thing happened to me i did it just before going to bed but once i hit SP i wasnt really shure what to do from there i got a little to excited that it worked and i had to stop myself from smirking but i eventually just called it quits...later on i asked my friend what happened and he said i was close too but next time i should try rolling out of my body or opening my eyes very slowly...try it next time it may just work!
