      Shitty WILD-ing

This night (as the night before) I decided for second time to try WILD-ing. I wake up by myself at 7. am, and I got to sleep at 2 am. Read DV for 10 minutes and went back to bed. I tried for 40 minutes to think and not move, but no vibrations.. At some point I was like I didnt know where my right part of the body is, but it was nothing.. So I decided to take a new aproach - to get to sleep and try somehow to take control just when I am about to fall asleep. I was verry abstract at some point, but I remember that I was thinking about lucid dreaming, and then I was thinking about lucid dreaming.. walking down the street. Good thing I know that street, and it was kinda darker then it should, so I did RC, and realised I was dreaming... So far so good, but it was the less vividest dream I've ever had.. And I think that when I walked on the street at some point I started walking for real, and wake myself up (it wasnt disapointing, since the dream was so shity). Then later I end up in lucids again (cant rememer how right now), which were not vivid, too. At some point I was a WoW character.. This was shit, cuz I wanted to talk to some DC.. Cant do that in WoW. I've drove a car before that, and I think that was the coolest thing I did in the dream.. But are all WILDs so unreal? Shit I preffer DILD..

Sounds like you did a WILD! If you find yourself somewhere, stop and test the details. Look around, test the speed that things appear. Test how quickly the details fill in if you concentrate on something. You might have started too fast and moved too much, that might account for low quality. I would definitely give it a second chance because you obviously did it. Maybe have a goal of visiting a fictional place you've read about or a place you've been before.

Now, after I wrote the post, I thought for few minutes, and I think I didnt have a LD in two weeks (probably is cuz I sleep only 5-6 hours - I must go to school), and may be thats the reason for the bad vividnes. And btw I am proud of myself that I did it at my second try

Well, you should be proud because most people don't have the curiousity to try it or give it a chance.

You know, once I created a technique similar to what heppened to you. It consisted of wandering off in your thoughts a bit, adnd then "remembering" of WILDing. This would get you in the initial, relaxed stages of WILD without you having to bother about it. Also helped yo uto get into the right mindset.

Btw congrats on your lucid ^^
