defiy time in a lucid dream

ha ha the big topic extened lucid dreams, iive been lucid dreaming for bout 1 year probally had bout 80 lucid dreams, , my lucid dreams have varied from beyound full blown clear reality and some not so clear, my main goal is be able control my lucid dreams to the fullest, i lucid dream almost every night and i am beging to establish more and more control, its jus the legnth of the dream, i mean ive had long dreams , but my avarege dream onli seems to last 10-5 minues, the longest lucid dream ive had is 30 mins, but how can i make this consistant, ive tried all different techniques [LIST][*]saying i have all the time in the world[*]being calm *worked well[*]and others but i read some people having lucid dreams lasting for what seems days, i kno its somet to do with the MIND understanding wha u want, but how do u defiy time in a dream!!!!!!!!.......... i kno its beeen gone over before BUT!, R.E.M time cant be the limit, surely there is a formula any answers for any one who has been able to defiy time , and make there lucid dream last???

I think I remember reading somewhere that if you want time to slow down in a dream but you want the dream to continue at full speed (the DC's aren't walking around in slow motion) try to find a clock and make the hands move slower or make them stop. You will probably stop worrying about time and have a nice long dream. My problem is is that when I LD it's usually after I wake up and go back to bed so I'm aware what time it is in real life and I think about it too much and it waked me up

Some people have had LDs that lasted a week, even thogh they were only sleeping for a few hours.
