      Dream peple/surroundings control

most times when i lucid dream it is induced by me instead of already being in a dream and realizing it is a dream.. so when i induce a lucid dream, i start out in my room, and then leave my house and am in my neighborhood, but it is completely deserted, no people... and if i try to make people appear, like seeing someone far away in a window, when i get to them they are gone or turn out to be someone in a tv or something like that.. how do i let my mind control my surroundings instead of having to concentrate so hard to make things appear? or how do i make people appear without having to concentrate so hard on their features lest they dissapear?

I don't know how many lucid dreams you have had, but know that dream control will take you some experience to master.

The technique I use to make dream characters appear is to tell myself that the person will be right around the next corner, or standing behind me. This almost always works for me, but it's something I've worked on. It's easier to tell yourself that the person will be there, and go find him/her, rather than have the person magically appear before your eyes.

      Good luck!

I agree in that it takes a bit to master. Many people, including myself, use the idea of relative creation. You have to create situations/places related to where that person might be or think of something related to them.

For example, if I wanted to meet a friend from university, I might think out loud "well, my friend is at university, so if I'm at a university, they're going to be there." with significantly less effort I've been able to make people appear in a dream.

It's a lot harder to create something/meet someone if it's from thin air because, well, that never really happens in real life, does it? We have to give our subconscious cues and it generally always follows. Giving it relativity is good. One particular aid I've used before is a magic wand, because I've seen magicians use it before in magic shows etc; therefore my subconscious mind can relate to visualisation/creation.

Work at it, never give up, and you can meet whoever you want and do whatever you want!

When I WILD I usually 'awaken' in my room. My house and neighborhod are often deserted as well.

I have a bit of trouble making people appear. One thing that worked was me running through the house yelling out someone's name. I searched behind every door, closet, cupboard, fridge, and when I got to one of the bedrooms the person was there.
