      helpp.

I haven't had too many LD's, but with each one they are getting longer. The only problem is when i try to do what seems to be the easiest things, they seem so complicated. Like in my latest LD i tried to open a window, because i wanted to exit a building quickly because i had walked up so many stairs to get to where i was, but it just faded. I usually just become aware i'm dreaming randomly, and i've only become lucid once due to a RC. But every time i do become lucid i ALWAYS start running my hand against the wall to try to stabilize. and it usually works...very shortly.

...sorry for the long post, but help would be appreciated.

Because the logic center of the brain is mostly inactive during dreams simple tasks can become complicated. It is hard to remember how to do them. Plus the dream scape changes, so how the window is opened may change. This is very normal.
