      Could a better bed matter

To get to the point of this topic. I kinda have a cruddy mattress... give me a pain in the neck here, pain in the back there... wondering if my body is not fully relax... now a new mattress or bed, whatever... would that help fully relax my body and mind to get a better vivid dream or something.

      Absolutely Snakeblood.
It will help you sleep more sound and could provide you relief from other pains in the future.
We spend a lot of time in our beds. It's a worthy investment!

Speaking from personal experience, a proper mattress is everything.

I invested in a Tempur mattress, and I need less sleep, and I sleep a lot better. And I don't wake up in pain!

The best for you would be a mattress that relieves pressure, so that your body will lie in a natural position. With a proper mattress, it feels like sleeping on a cloud! They can be expensive, but they are an investment in life quality, as you will also feel more rested.

I got a better bed, and now I sleep so soundly I never wake up and my recall is crap. I'm trying to start over from scratch with my dreaming.

An extremely uncomfortable bed wouldn't be good either.

I heard something like that. I've had the same bed for 5 years. When I get a new mattress its going to be that one.

It feels really firm at first, but then you sink into it. I don't know what memory foam is, maybe that's it. It's really comfortable.

Memory foam is exactly what is sounds like. Your body makes an indention in it like it does with Tempur, and when you get out it goes back to its original shape. So yes, Tempurpedic is memory foam, and very comfy!

Now that I think about it, after my surgery I slept on my parent's Tempur mattress and had 2 LDs in a week! I should get one!

Bed really matters. In fact my matress is really uncomfortable. I need a new one. Dude, buy that floating air bed. It costs like 2000$ but seriously, I have trouble with my bed too.

Beds matter, and for me, so do pillows.

Can not possibly go to sleep with a soft pillow or soft bed. :/

Deeper sleep in the middle of the night means more REM sleep in the end of the night. Ergo, better dreams. I have a memory foam mattress and I love it. Highly recommended.

Well, maybe it's not my bed--I hope not, since I'm pretty much stuck with it.

Me too. I dream more when comfortable. Also I love the smell of fresh sheets and blankets and pillows. The laundry gets done often around here. The memory foam pillows are nice.
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.

GET A TEMPURPEDIC MATRESS. There <$1000 but there SO comfortable I tried one in an Ashley Furniture Store and fell asleep in 10 minutes. And I'm the biggest insomniac I know.

even though the Tempur-pedic mattress cost about $1000 or more, assuming that they are also 12 inches thick or more... but doesn't wal-mart sell the same thing only cheaper

I just bought a Tempurpedic pillow. Hopefully it makes sleeping on the couch more comfortable.

Ha no escaping the mattresses we get at Marion Military Institute. They suck and it's not like we can upgrade.

Have fun with ya'lls nice mattrasses
