Dream City

Im just wondering if anyone else has realized that the area in some dreams (doesnt even have to be in the same decade) connect? like a city. Ive had many dreams that take place around my city, but there are other areas around the city that connect to it. and some parts within the city are different from the waking world. Im mainly talking about random topic, non lucid dreams. Not dreams where YOU have created the area because you have thought about creating it. just those dreams that just happen and then you wake up the next morning and remember the dream. It also seems (for me atleast) that these areas that are different from the waking world are always the same when I go back to those areas in different dreams. I think that in our non lucid dreams there really is a dream world where random, non lucid dreamers go every night. Anyone ever try mapping out these "dream cities"?

well i do hav dreams that like i go out side and jupiter or mars is actually touching my backyard. only its not so big. u can think of dreaming like the dream world wer ur personaltiy goes from an emotional day u had like meeting a girl or breaking up with her or wat ever. perhaps for fun or to be tortured by demons who send u nightmares. i think of it like dream world is a world u goto hav fun or wat ever and somtimes u can controll them and do wat ever u want. and i mean anything u want. but i believe the fact that time is our worst enemy becus if u hav a cool dream u dont want it to end but it will hav to be cus of time. try time traqveling wen lucid

Yes I have ben to variants of places that exist in this world, sometimes its subtle other times theres a large difference. Its probably our imaginations altering our memories.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, Lavos. Many of my dreams have taken place in a compressed version of my city, with a few extra areas added, and overall this modified city is almost exactly the same in each dream. I have a pretty good a map of this city in my head .

When I lived at my old house.. I used to dream my room was like a portal to all the places I wanted to go in a dream. Now its much harder, i have to randomly summon up a place and teleport there, which involves serious concentration especially late in the morning. I've been able to goto my city a couple times and yes, I find theres connections.. like the school seems to be connected to every other place in the city.. if i go there, i can go everywhere, its hard to explain.. maybe i'll open a post on it tommorow.

o yeah i had one ewr my house conntects. one is wer thers an ocean rite in my backyard. and i can swim to the bottom 30 ft. (just a random estimate) and it was cool but scary. another one i had was that my backyard was soak city. only wen i went ther it was closed and it looked mor peacefull. it was really wierd.
