Feel like my dreams are too rushed.

Whenever I have a lucid dream, it feels like things are 1.5X normal, real life speed. Is this a normal thing for dreams, or are there ways I can slow myself down? It really saps the enjoyment out of it all - I need to learn to stop and think before I randomly do things.

Never happened to me with the speed 1.5 times faster than real life speed. But anyway in the past I wasn't able to see, hear or walk for a few months in my dreams SO... It's normal. It will PROBABLY fade away. Cheers.

I've had a dream where everything was in 'fast forward'. It was really weird, but it only happened once.

I've never experienced this. That is quite strange.... that be a bad way to have a lucid if everything was sped up like that. Hmm however you just gave me an idea. If I could slow down my surroundings and keep myself the same speed I could enter slow motion. If I did the opposite I would be the fastest thing moving in the the dream.

You know if one was to move at the speed of light it would appear that time had stopped? Interesting concept, but I digress.

I guess you don't have LDs very often and when one happens, you want to do everything you can before it fades.

Forget about it. Sit somewhere and focus on your surroundings. A minute will be okay, then everything should be normal.
