      Getting More Lucid Lately

I ALWAYS have bad dreams, in my dreams nothing ever goes my way, so naturally it should be pretty easy for me to realize I'm dreaming right? Well recently I've been able to realize I'm dreaming but I have no control. I closed my eyes (in my dream, of course) and tried to imagine hearing different sounds to put me in a different (and better) place, but that didn't work so I just let go off the cliff I was dangling from (told you my dreams are bad) and fell to the ground, stood up, and I was in a paradise of sorts!

I guess there's not much point to this post, but thats my new strategy for gaining lucidity when nothing else works.

You mean gaining control, not lucidity.

Just recognizing you are dreaming is getting lucid. So good job!

Well, if you end up in a paradise, good for you, but if you want to gain a bit of control, look around in the tutorials section

      Good luck.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up haha. I've been trying to do this for a couple of years now and I've read a lot and tried a lot of excersises, but for some reason my attention span is incredibly short when I'm dreaming

Thats okay... I recently had a lucid that I was so mentally dead, I ended up smashing buildings down by punching out all the supports.
