How are you getting lucid? If it's DILD, and you're doing RCs during the day, incorporate mentally or even verbally reviewing your goals every single time that you RC during the day. Let's say your dreamsign is dogs.
*is walking down the street*
*sees a dog*
"Oh, a dog! My dreamsign, I might be dreaming."
*does 3 reality checks, is awake*
*stabilizes anyway*
"My dream goals are ____, ____, ____, ____."
*continues walking down the street*
This will get your into the habit of stabilizing the moment you've RCed or realized you are dreaming, quickly followed up by a review of your dream goals, before you think about anything else in the dream. It'll simply become reflex to say, "Ok, I have to make the dream stable, and what was it I wanted to do again?"
