Well I have I never had a lucid experience but I am currently developing myself. There is a girl I like in real life but never did talk to her in school, as I'm too shy. School is out and I will never see her again unless she is out in a club or something when I am. Would it be possible for me to create a confrontation with her, like just talking to her, in a lucid dream? |

Yeah, something like that would be easier than you might think. The trick is getting LDs and learning to maintain them. That way, you'll have the time to get what you want done. |
|
It would be creepy but relatively easy. Just use some DC summoning technique and you're all set. |
|
Ok, think of anything you could possibly imagine..... thats what you can do in a LD. |
|
"Hi, we're complete strangers and have never spoken before, but for some reason I have a crush on you anyway. Since I could never get up the nerve to talk to you, I'm going to summon you into my dreams for some lucid sexy-time." |

April Ryan is my friend,
Every sorrow she can mend.
When i visit her dark realm,
Does it simply overwhelm.
Of course not, that's why I said you know it's going to go there. Anyway, off topic enough. Yes, it's possible. Just turn around expecting her to be there, or open a door, or call her name and look around a corner, or turn someone else into her, or whatever else you can think of to make her show up. |
|
LMAO, no dude! You misunderstood. I'm not sexually attracted to her or anything(not slating her or anything), and sex plays no role in this whatsoever. I will never see her again is all unless we happen to be out on town at the same time, which I doubt will happen. She lives far away |
|
Because he's moral enough not to have dream sex with a particular girl he doesn't know, but any other girl he doesn't know is just fine. |
|
why you don't practice in the dreams to get that confidence you need to talk her? |
|
Yes, that's one of the most basic and easily recognizable forms of situational irony. There's also verbal irony (my favorite) and dramatic irony. Of course, these terms are usually reserved for literature, but I find they work well in describing real life irony as well. |
|
Someone's been googling. |

To this day, I have not been able to successfully summon a DC of my choosing. My brain is just too grounded in logic for it to work... my best suggestion to you, then, is rather than 'forcing' your will onto the dream attempt to influence the dream's situation to a circumstance where the two of you might conceivably meet. For example, as opposed to "I want her to appear NOW," try "She said she would be at this party that I'm walking to right now, I'll find her there." |

New Experience in a Dream: DC-anchored dream control!
7 DILD (reality check), 28 DILD (become aware), 0 WILD, 1 Semi-Lucid
Yup! You can do anything you wish in a dream. You just have to believe you can make it happen. |

Relax with this irony bullshit and lets all work towards answering the guys question. Michael, I know the anti-american shit is annoying as hell (being american myself), but lets just chill out and not hijack this thread. |
|
hisnameistyler is right, this thread got way too off topic. |

Well I haven't had a lucid dream yet, but I obviously think about her a lot. She and her friends have been in my dreams now for about a week I dunno why! Last night she was in my dream on her own, but it was a completely normal and random dream. |
