      Can anyone offer any insight?

Lately I've been having a recurring theme in almost all my dreams. I am constantly climbing ladders or stairs or scaling large towers. And once I was even standing on top of a 100 foot stack of Mountain Dew cans. I always end up stuck at the top and paralyzed with fear on how I'm supposed to get down. I feel like I can't move and I just keep holding on and am too afraid to even look down. I usually end up waking up before anything else happens because I'm so scared.

Any ideas what this means or why I'd keep dreaming it? Thanks

Yeah, I've had flying dreams a lot. And I sometimes have dreams where I'm not exactly flying, but swimming through the air...I enjoy flying dreams though

sounds like you've got talent (to fly) but maybe lack confidence (to jump)

you just made me perform a reality check! (Mtn. Dew is a dreamsign for me haha) But in all seriousness, you may have a possibly phobia with heights, try to confront it the next time your lucid and see if that helps. wish I could give more advice, but thats all im sure of as of now. If I find some alternate or more info I'll post again.

I've had a couple of these climbing dreams. I'll climb all the way to the top of a mountain, or a tall building, or a teetering pile of things (usually books or stones), and then I'll cling there, terrified that I might fall. In the dream, climbing up was easy. It's getting down again that seems impossible.

I think it has to do with fears or insecurities regarding a current situation. Sometimes I feel like I create situations in my life that seemed like a good idea at the time (climbing upwards), but the results aren't what I was hoping for (getting stuck at the top) and then I'm confused about where to go from there (struggling to get down). Once I address the situation and find a way to resolve it, the climbing dreams stop.

This dream just means you are having problems with your success rate. All your dream is trying to tell you is keep trying and you will succeed but the fear part I have no idea. What are you scared about in the dream think about it long and hard. Ask your self this!
