This has been bothering me so I was hoping for a different perspective. I saw my ex the other day and I think I rekindled some feelings because she has been texting and calling me non-stop since then. I had ignored her because I didn't really want to go down that twisted emotionally path again. Yesterday she called me 3 or 4 times in a row. I then had this dream last night: It started out with me and a bunch of my friends celebrating at a bar. For some reason this bar was right in the middle of a bookstore, so there was unknowns in the background doing typical bookstore activities. We were having a great time laughing and drinking. I then look out the window and all the buildings were on fire and there was complete anarchy in the streets. This chaos was completely outside our bookstore bubble and my friends didn't seem to notice or care. I then receive a video message on my phone. It's from the ex. She smiles a sad smile, puts a gun to her head, and blows her brains out. the end.

You said that she had been calling you and text messaging you, and you ignored her and that was because you didn't really want to go down the same twisted, emotional path again. Well it's obvious to me that you don't want the relationship to continue or do you? I split up from my first love years ago, I was with him nearly 8 years. It's almost certain he will be in my dreams everynight. About 2 weeks or so ago, I dreamt that we both got into a coffin together, held hands, I told him that I was scared and he told me that everything was going to be alright, after that I shut the coffin lid and we died together. To me that was my way of subconsciously burying everything and letting go of everything we had. I think maybe it was the same for you in your dream, you're trying to let go of what you and your ex girlfriend had. Have you spoken to her since having the dream?
