I have always been able to fly

I have been aware of lucid dreaming only about two months now. But I have always been able to fly and move things with my mind. I remember as far back as the third grade in school being able to fly in my dreams but don’t ever remember anyone else in my dreams that could fly. Even now with having lucid dreams often it seems like people have some knowledge or some hidden abilities that I don’t. My being able to fly makes me feel like I have something they don’t. Is that normal for someone to think a lot about others with a bit of paranoia and then feel equal because of an original talent?

Quite possibly they lack the will power to fly.

I find I need to exert alot of will power to control my dreams, the more lucid I am, the more it takes...

Either that or they're not taking it seriously enough, to fly you have to shake off man's expectation to fall. Think yoda style- do or do not, there is no try.

I'm not trying to get them to fly. I was just wondering if that had any meaning. If they did start to fly I could care less. It usually like walking to me and it makes me feel like I’m superior in some ways to them even though I feel inferior to the hidden abilities I think they have. I think in real life I have thought that also. Sometimes I think, "what if people know thing I don’t, how would I know" Ever since I was a child I thought that. Because grown ups would say things I didn't understand yet, and that thought always stayed with me. Especially when I got into drugs. Wow talk about paranoia. Like maybe people are really something else etc. etc. and so on. But times on drug I even thought I was god .I remember back in the acid days- well never mind you get the point. To sum it up I always felt either inferior or superior but never equal. Unless I use my logic and analyze things then sometimes I see where we should be equal

      Dear Dreamtamer007

It's odd that you've never met another Flyer in your Dreams. One of the uses one can put Lucidity to is to evaluate one's dream scenes, and if one thinks one's present Dream Scene is bit on the low side, one can simply levitate away to a Higher and Better Dream Scence -- trusting in the Higher Mind to provide the Destination. Doing this I have found that there are a few Dream Character with the ability to follow. Now, a Dream Character that can Fly is not just a Dream Character anymore. You must treat a Dream Character that can fly as a Fellow Dreamer. You must remember to behave responsibly with such Fellow Dreamers populating your Dreams, you could meet them in real life tomorrow, and then, if you had behaved scandalously, then what would you have to say for yourself.

But it is rare. Often in dreams I use levitation as a means of showing off. It rarely impresses anybody, though. You think some 'oooos' and 'aaaahhhhs' would rise up from the awestruck masses, but they are typically simply just blase about the whole thing. And so I've learned to downplay it. Instead of rising up over a room of people, I simply slide inexplicably across the floor without moving my feet, that is to say, to levitate about a fraction of a inch over the ground, and that seems to raise more excitement than flying would.

But anymore, it simply seems to be the way one should travel in one's dreams. Why walk when one can fly... not up in the sky, but while everyone else is walking, the dreamer can simply just unobstrusively and without much spectacle, float along with the flow of the crowd.

Anyway, sooner or later you will meet another Flyer in your Dreams. Remember, that is a REAL Person! So don't be rude (even by New Jersey standards).

Lol, You sound like you know N.J. Thanks for the advice. I never really thought about DCs as being real in a lucid dreams. Reason being that most of the books I am currently reading are of psychologists and they imply it’s all in your head for the most part. I haven’t finished reading Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss yet but he does refer to DCs as actual other spirits at times. I'll try to keep that in mind just to be on the safe side. I'll have to act like I'm not from New Jersey. : Lol:

A friend of mine said about New Jersey that it is surprising that so many people live there since it only costs 50 cents to cross the bridge and there are no machine gun towers or razor-wire fenses keeping them in.

But New Jersey did go BLUE and so how bad could it be.

50 cent? what year was that 1969?
I lived here all my life. It now cost &3.00 to cross most bridges and you have to pay to get out. It’s free coming in. Like the hotel California, if you don’t have any money you can never leave. A few years ago and probably still, it’s the most populated state per square mile. I thought about this for years: why do so many people live here. I figure its winter and summer temperatures are balanced and very few hurricanes and I never saw a tornado or earth quake. Also I think the general thinking is to try and be hard like a New Yorker but somehow we just wind up getting pissed off. We do have some good corn and tomatoes. 8)
