Extra Fingers

The other night I had a dream where I suddenly realized that I had several extra fingers. I cannot remember if they were on both hands or just my right hand(and I am left handed) but the were fingers coming off of my index and middle fingers and there were 2 on each side of each finger, for a total of 8 fingers extra. Then my father said something like it must have been something from that ham, which in real life the day before I had just eaten some ham. Then before I left to go to the Doctors I said goodbye too everyone as if there was a chance I might die. I dont think I ever made it to go to the Doctors but instead (possibly a seperate dream)I went to a neighbor hood and there was a race on dirtbikes and a friend of mine either stopped or crashed just short of the finish line and lost. Anyway, I have just been freaked out by the extra fingers and every time I think about it I have to grab my hand and squeeze it to make sure notihng is growing on my fingers. Any possible explanations?

Just a guess, but did you watch Bruce Almighty recently ? Btw, in a lucid dream try counting your fingers. For me, I have what looks like 5 fingers, but when I count them the answer is different

No I have not seein it recently, but I have seen it, but the thing it the fingers werent coming form my hand, they were growing off of my fingers just aboe the knucke then bending and goinf straing wit my other fingers I know I distictly had 2 fingers on either side of each of my fingers, but when I first noticed that I had extra fingers, I believe I was playing basketball I coulted and I came to the number 7 even though I had more than that. I will have to try that too
