Question Amusement Parks / Water meaning

Ever since I was little, I've realized almost all of my dreams have to do with water. Especially water parks. I've had multiple dreams about being in huge waves on the shore of a beautiful beach, sometimes stuck in the waves or having fun. I used to have a reoccuring nightmare about being alone at sea in the dark when I was little. And I've have probably well over 100 dreams about water parks, water slides, log flume rides, water sports, and rollercoasters I make up as I go in semi-lucid dreams. Almost all of these dreams were pleasant and fun.

All of my other dreams that don't revolve around water somehow involve it. One dream I was trying to find someone I wanted to talk to (someone in real life I missed) and I had to travel across water to get to him (never actually made it, too far). Another dream when I was younger, I was floating down a peaceful water stream with lily pads lit with purple and dark blue lights, except this stream was made of concrete on the edges and full of chlorine water. I was sitting on a lily pad and at the end I entered a water wonderland type scene with little fountains spitting water and water faries. One of my happiest dreams as a little girl. Every time I dream about a dream house or something, there's a pool in the middle of the house.

Wow as I'm typing these out I keep remembering more from my past! ALL MY DREAMS INVOLVE WATER!!

Does this mean something symbolically? I've always wondered that because I dream about them far too often. Or maybe it just means I'm happy in the water? Anyone else have dreams like this or can explain the meaning of mine? I have more if you want to hear them.

Water connotes emotion - a lot of emotion - and is also the most powerful and versatile of the elements: it can extinguish fire, wear away stone and metal, sweep away earth and without water, wood could not survive. Perhaps, deep down, you feel as though you have no control what so ever over your life. This is supported by the dreams of you floating on water, we've all heard of the phrase "go with the flow" and those dreams suggest you are merely "floating" on life and are either powerless or content to just let it take you wherever. Again this idea is supported by the dream of you trying to reach your friend. The water stopped, or possibly, hindered you from doing this, suggesting that you are struggling with something in your life or just with life in general.

Water also has another meaning. Still and calm water acts as a mirror. Only when the surface is calm can we see down into its depths. Perhaps your dreams are telling you to pay attention to something, something about yourself or mind. It seems you are cruising through life but ignoring something vital. What that is, I cannot say. Perhaps it is the thing you are powerless against? A fear maybe? This idea is supported by those nightmares you had when you are a girl.

I suggest taking some time out from your schedule to devote to yourself and try to find out what could possibly be missing in your life or perhaps what you could be ignoring or fighting against. It's worth a shot.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck ^^

I truly appreciate your time and effort you involved in writing this for me! It is truly making me think a lot about how I react to and feel about life. Great insight and I appreciate this so much.
