I asked someone to kill me, but i could not die?

Very strange dream i had last night. All i remember is that I specifically asked someone, whom i believe i knew, to kill me. He sliced my jugular vein and i fell to the ground. My vision was blurred but i felt no pain, no anxiety, no fear, no discomfort. I was almost neutral or perhaps even slightly content as i waited patiently for my own death. Thing is, it never came. I laid there waiting for my soul to leave but I stayed there. In fact, I got back up and realized that there was only one drop of blood on my neck, no wound, no scar, nothing. Then i stood there alone in the room,confused as to how this could have happened and why. I dont know what to make of this.

This might need to go in the Dream Interpretation subforum. Also, it's completely possible to be immortal in dreams and whatnot. Now, as far as interpretation goes, I think this has to do with your relationship with that person.
