      Here comes the rain again...

A dream of distant thunder. No lightening, just a rumble off in the distance somewhere...yet again i find myself feeling uneasy, afraid, and desolate. it's raining again. I am standing on a bridge, over a river. The water is fast running over a rapid, and this makes me afraid.

this is the second dream of this nature that i have had in less than a week. It's also the second ever dream i remember being in monochrome. Yet again i woke up feeling totally desolate, alone, and miserable.

it would seem that my dreams have suddenly taken a very depressing and melancholy turn.
Anyone got any ideas for this one?? I think it may be linked to the one i had in the churchyard...which would suggest that something somewhere is really trying to tell me something, and i'm not figuring it out..

well for me when I dream of rain, it is an indication of my psychic self, for I only dream of rain when I seem to be in the dark of my life, and when I am seeking fullfillmant in new area's of life, it could be possible that you are seeking something more here, and the rapid waters are showing that things are possible too fast in your life, or you feel perhaps life is passing you by..
      causing emotional overwhemness.
we all have to deal with life the best we can, if we are lost , our dreams may show us the best way to deal with things, remember everything is temporary,..what I do when I am overwhemed by life, I try to live in the moment the best I can, not focusing on the future , nor the past, and this can lead to a more fullfilling life, though it is not easy, it is possible,..
I wish you luck and if you need someone to talk to Im willing to listen, don't let life overwhelm you, things are never as bad as they seem

      First Dream...

      Raining symbolises spiritual cleansing.
      Bridge means undergoing transformation
      River flowing means overwhelming emotions.

You are undergoing a spiritual transformation/cleansing and it can get pretty emotional...

It's funny you should say that...i'd forgotten this dream...looks like it was pretty premonitory..
i'm going through something just now that seems pretty intense, and emotional...
      what you said...
and what i said about feeling lonely, and desolate...that's how i felt in my life before, but i don't feel that anymore!

You are on a Bridge. You are between your Future and your Past. And it is not a smooth transition. Emotionally, we have the turbulent waters beneath you. Intellectually, we have the Thunder (Air is Intellect, Water is Emotion).

It may also represent a Choice. On a Bridge, you can go either way. Or the Bridge could be permanent, in the sense of the Spiritual 'Razor's Edge'. One the Center of the Bridge you are not necessarily One Thing or necessarily The Other. This could be the source of your desolation. You are alone. Between Worlds, you don't belong to one or to the other.

Remember, there are advantages to not picking Sides. When you stay Between, you can be an honest broker for Peace between the Two. But if you choose one side for the sake of having some warmth of human Society, then there is the consequence of having alienated the Other Side. Then again, by staying in the middle, perhaps one has alienated everybody.

Life does have some tough choices, no?

A van? This is a dream, you know, so you could actually get a nice room somewhere. So, using a Van indicates a severe lack of self esteem. It is as though you can't even imagine being other than a low life.

And the 'Spanish Girl'. If you are from a predominantly protestant country, then violating a Spanish Girl shows your contempt for Civilized Values, as the Jurisdictions of the Old Roman Empire, The Iberian Penisula being foremost, were the very Center of Civilization -- what was then known as Christendom or The Holy Roman Empire. The Protestant Nations are engaging in nothing more than the Barbarian overthrow of that Civilization, as can be seen in all of their wars and ongoing predations, in Europe and around the Globe.

so, such a dream signifies the dreamer as a low life barbarian.
