      Demon in my dream!

I have had dreams for the past few years about a man I could never see the face of. I always had some feeling he was a demon or something of that sort. I'd know if he was in the dream because panic would almost instantly set in. Normally, he harms me in some way, for example... once he cut my mouth from corner to corner and I could feel it really happening ... and then he rapes me. I never really thought too much about it until I woke up this morning, because last night I had one of the weirdest, semi-scariest dreams I'd had in while....

      I am a 22 year old female.

It started in my bedroom. I was going to sleep beside my boyfriend, who I have been with for a little over a year. (We had our share of problems..maybe more than our share, but I do love him.) Stuff started happening... I had this closet which had a door with a mirror on it. It opened. The lights went out and I was terrified because I felt his presence in the room. I remember screaming to leave me alone, and my boyfriend was there so I didn't think anything could happen. A few minutes later the lights came back on and the closet door closed, the mirror had scratches on it. After further investigation, I found the scratches were in the shape of a crown.

I don't quite remember what happens from this point to the next point, but the next thing I know is I am lying in my bed and across the room is another bed. My stepfather is lying in it as well. (He's been in my life for almost 10 years and him and my mother had a rocky past but are currently working things out). He was saying something about the meaning of this crown on my mirror and how I needed to wake up. I tried to talk to him but as soon as I opened my mouth, words that I couldn't understand came out, in a weird voice, and wind started whipping around the room. I remember telling him shortly after "That wasn't me, that wasn't me!" The floor stretched and the bed he was lying in disappeared and I got up and started walking through this house that wasn't mine, and seemed to go on forever. I ran into a man who said he'd been looking for me. I had this same terrified feeling I used to get when the no faced man was in my dream, but this time I could see him. I did not know this man. He was tall, thin, had black hair, black beard, and was wearing mostly black clothing.

He picked me up, he was extremely powerful over me. He took me to the room I had just left and told me (for lack of a better...phrase?) he was going to "eat my p***y" and he did. I did not try to fight him. I don't remember crying or anything, just laying there. After this, I don't remember anything until we are in the car. Me and this man in the backseat, my best friend (who has been my best friend since fifth grade and I love dearly) and some other guy who I assume was her boyfriend in the dream. I had never seen him either. We were driving down a back road somewhere when we wreck. We all get out seemingly okay. The other guy and my best friend start walking the opposite way we came and this man with me decides we need to go the other way. I don't want to go, but I do because I'm afraid to not listen to him.

We walk for what seems like 10 to 15 minutes and we come across some type of search party and they tell us to stop where we are. I stop. He turns around and whispers in my ear that he'll be back for me. He walks into the group of people and I hear gunshots. That is when I woke up.

It is the most common thing projections of fear emotions in dreams.
It is replicated in the "back" of your head and projected as a dream.
You're just mirroring the easiest thing to project.
      Fear.

Do you fear rape, or is it that on some level you fantasize about rape, but are not comfortable with yourself for doing so? A lot of women either fear rape or fantasize about it in some weird way. Those of us who fantasize about it, it's not that we actually want to be raped in real life, but in our fantasies we do: we want a "man" to overpower us and do things to us that we in real life would not tolerate. In waking life we may want a loving relationship of equals, a man who always asks and never takes that which is not freely offered, but some part deep inside of us may crave being taken by a stranger or a caveman or a criminal or a demon or a vampire, and that part of us may scare the hell out of us, and we may resent ourselves for it. This is why supernatural romance book genre is so popular and also in pornography the bondage and domination and rape fantasies, which may be read and written by women more often than you would expect. Could this be it for you? If so, I would suggest that you accept that part of yourself: however strange this may sound, this is perfectly normal for many women.

Of course if what I wrote here does not sound like it to you at all, then please ignore it, and I apologize if my suggestions shock or bother you.
