Angry [Nightmare with a meaning?] Please help me figure out this dream :c

It was around 0:00 PM where I was half asleep

Just a few minutes later; I remember being awake; yet I was dreaming some how...
It had taken me several hours to awake from the dream.
When I thought about what it was about, well it was strange...

A Giant House with lot's of slides to get down stairs.
Yet this place had a twist... Dark & Horror...
(Note: I did not watch a Horror)

Then, I was thrown into the house, no escape.
Meeting several people my age. Yet some of them didn't talk.
In-fact they were dead in the end of my dream.
After, I'd say around half an hour in my dream; this strange creature
is after us. (What could all this mean?)

Yet in the end; we say the creature is friendly...
which was a lie... since there was Horror.
Blood and corpses lying next to the walls...

I was so freaked out; until I awoke and thought; WTF!

      xD

(So what could all this mean?)

I know you say you did not watch any horror before this, can you tell us a bit about what you did do the day before, and what is going on in your life? I think interpreting this dream would be easier if we had some context.

I were playing some Legend Of Zelda; yet I focussed on storylines.
Also I were a little in pain; confused on my surroundings for some odd reason.

Were you actually a bit in pain in real life? I think physical pain can contribute to nightmares. The Legend of Zelda is an action, adventure, puzzle game, right? I am sure that also contributed to your nighttime adventure. Since your mind was in puzzle solving mode due to the game, I suspect that it is more likely that this dream is a puzzle for you to solve. Think of all the main elements in this dream, and try word associations based on them. Also is there any puzzle piece that is missing that might help you figure this dream out better. If you were to continue this dream, what would come next. Ask yourself why for all the dream elements, for example: why would you possibly think that The creature is friendly, was there anything about it that had positive association for you? A house of terror that you cannot escape is like a puzzle because I bet you were trying to figure out a way to escape it. Being in a house where everyone except you dies in the end makes me think of a murder mystery. Also since you are the only one who survives, and you somehow feel the creature may be friendly after all, could the creature represent a part of you in some way, pursuing someone or something in a way that scares you but that you cannot stop / cannot escape?

Well if you have ever played an old PlayStation 1 Game: Called Oddworld - (I'm not going to say the name...)
Anyway, it has a strange character who scares the crap out of me ever since I were young.
Plus; the creature was similar to this character.

Yet I did not even play that game!!! I'm so confused. However in Legend Of Zelda there was a 2D sprite.
That my mind mistaken for a character even though it was just decoration :L

What is the puzzle behind this dream? I am so confused :c

Well, it could be that it is as simple as the 2D sprite somehow reminded you of the character that always scared you in this Oddworld game you used to play. And that could be all the cause of the nightmare. It may not mean anything more than that.

No, I do not know the character you are talking about. I am not much of a gamer. I know people are worried about the impact of games on violence in society and such. I am not sure whether I buy into that. I think people who are violent after playing video games were already likely to be violent anyway, and they needed a last straw to push them over the edge and if it had not been video games than something else would have triggered it. However, I do think that horror movies and violent video games have a huge impact on dreams. People who watch such movies and play such games a lot are much more likely to have dreams that incorporate elements from the horror movies or violent video games. This may not necessarily be a ver bad thing, but just something to be aware of. If you are interested in lucid dreaming, nightmares are often a good way to realize that these are just dreams because they are so different from waking life which is not a nightmare. And then you could use lucid dream to change nightmare into something more fun for you if you like. However, if the nightmares don't bother you too much then it is not a big deal, and I think it is likely a side effect of the games you play. However, it is still possible that there is some additional hidden message in such a dream for you. I don't know what it is though, other than my previous idea that the creature could be a part of you, maybe a part that your conscious mind disapproves of? But if this does not sound right to you, then please discard my idea because I am likely wrong.
