      Weird dream... Please interpret ASAP...

[before i post, know that i am quite young and quite new to this forum. thanks.]

I started out in my house. I was moving rooms, which I was planning to do about ayear ago and still haven't. So all my stuff was in this weird room that is where mine is now and my next door neighbor [she's about 12] walked in and started complaining about it for supposedly it used to be her room. For some reason, I was glad she was so upset.

Then from there I went to a pool side where I saw the guy I like [i'm a teenager, can't you tell?] in a chair. He seemed to be stuck. So another guy I know [i know both of these guys from acamp i work at] came over and tickled him and he made this weird sound and then my friend went over to do the same. [i think this was because the other day he was telling some people how not-ticklish he was, so somehow it ended up in my dream...] So then, out of no where, I went up and kneeled on the group and threw my arms around him. The hug broke whatever was holding him back and he sat up and put his arm around me.

Oh, he was in a cop uniform too. So he brought out a police radio and called another guy from camp and said "Get me out of here! These people are harassing me!" and I was like "Hey!" and then he look over at me and smirked and said "Except her. She hugged me. And I love her." And that's all I remember.

[by the way, this guy is like, five years older than me.]

I've been wondering if it meant anything all day, and coincidentally, I just found this forum.

IM me if you can help...

Usually, I don't think dreams mean anything.

Sorry, but this dream seems pointless to me.

Maybe, but this ia the first time in a long time I felt like I was supposed to get something from my dream.

I thought maybe it was when I hugged him and the bonds broke. That has to mean something... I guess. Well thanks for responding anyways...

Re: Weird dream... Please interpret ASAP...

I am not much on dream interpretation, however, I am somewhat of an empath and prefer to work on that level.

Big question: How did you FEEL about it? I know you seem a little confused about it right now, but take the dream step by step and examine your emotions. That in my opinion is the key to understanding dreams.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

      The whole bond thing.

Like you said, I think the significant thing in the whole story is you hugging him and he being freed from the chair. Maybe it just means that you need to actually talk to him, or if you have already, get to know him better. Maybe the bonds just represent your fear of his age, and when you finally gave him a hug, you realized you actually had a chance wwith him, or something to that effect. Just a thought.

this dream tells us some interesting factors regarding male-female courtship dynamics. Men are basically stuck. They like women, but unless they have the rapers mentality, they are held back until the woman makes the actual move of willing consent. In some parts of the East and Near East it can be as little as looking back into a man's eyes. In the West we have heard of 'dropping a handkerchef'. In Clubs it is offering a cigerette to be lit. Whatever it may turn out to be, within courtship rituals, it is always the female that makes the confirmational move, the action that sets the male free to commense with the rough stuff.

Now refer to your dream. You set this young man free, whereupon he goes on the radio and broadcasts that he despises all of your friends; he takes on the Persona of a Policeman -- that would seem to indicate that he would hold you in some bondage or duress. And all this because you unstuck him from that chair.

If there is a lesson to be learn here, it is that you should be careful who you turn lose upon yourself. In our culture, young women are greatly encouraged to show all the signs of sexual invitation over and over again, at the bars and clubs and parties and whatever. And then it surprises them when they find themselves being stalked.

Women of beauty and experience learn soon enough to develop an impenetrable air of coldness and distance -- a distant look in their eye. Whatever behaviors they may engage in -- the men involved are left in no doubt regarding her availability. Nobody jumps out of some chair and takes them prisoner.

So, anyway, innocence was sweet while you were a child. but those days are gone. Now you must learn how to be guarded. You must learn how to keep your distance and protect yourself. Like all beautiful women, you must be able to turn on what amounts to an invisible force field that jerks just bounce off of.

Quite... umm... interesting. I would say he was kidding about the harassment thing in the dream, though, by the looks of it. I knew who the radio call was to, and it was someone all my friends and I knew. I can see you points, though.
