      Dream Occurences

Why is it that in my recent dreams, water is a main theme? Like, in the one I had last night, the world was flooded. In another, I was pushed underwater and saw this thing coming for me, and in another, I was drowning.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of water. I love swimming, and I have no fear of drowning. I don't think it has anything to do with the recent hurricane attack, but if anybody knows anything about the sudden theme of water in dreams, it'd help alot. Thanks!

Were these regular dreams or lucids?

Regular, methinks. I had some sort of control, but I wasn't lucid.

Well, it seems to me that there could be a few different answers to your question. One is, the most mundane, that you have water on the subconscious brain for some reason. Try to think of why, what this trigger was.

Also, if you have not yet found your Dream Guide, I submit that there is the off-chance that your DG could be connected to the water, or actually be the water itself. As an element, water very much has a life to it, and especially in dreams.

Lastly, logically, I would say coincidence -- but as I don't believe in those, I shan't.

      I hope this helps.

Water in dreams generally represents emotions.
