I was in some sort of epic fight and i fell forward before a staircase, beside me to the left (while lying on the ground), I saw a javelin hit the stairs and stick in them, then another, and another, each time closer to me (to the right). It looks sort of like this: (each number representing the javelin and how close it was to me each time a new one hit the stairs.

they were being thrown from behind, and eventually by like the 18th they started hitting my body, in/around the area of the heart, and were being perfectly thrown in an almost automatic/gun fashion. I almost felt the pain, but then realized it was a dream and thought of the "quit game" option in video games to waken. I'm wondering what this could mean.

In context of the rest of the dream prior to this event I was in a sword fight with a lot of Japanese looking samurais and won, then I had to do it again with a much larger "katana" which is when I began running to the top of this staircase/building with my opponent at the top, only to fall before the steps and get pierced with 10 javelins consecutively.
