weird car accidents and stuff

so last night im driving my dad's car....really fast. the acceleration, the sound is very vivid. I can see myself shifting gears...i make it up to the top of 4th gear and i'm going up a hill really fast. then i reach the peak of the hill and there's a parking garage and the car keeps going up cause im driving so fast and I hit my face on the roof of the car, and my face is all bloody...... the car skids to a halt, and i step outside of the car and people are being really nice to me cause they think someone's beat me up. i escape them and go to a bike store where my bike is stolen by someone after a store worker takes my bike and mentions they are going to put it somewhere to look at it. I can't get it back... some time after i find this out, i find out my dad has died too.....really sad. i don't know what to think about it so I try and find my sister but she's at home so i go back to the parking garage and the car i find is a car my sister and i had an accident in, in real life. freaky... then i wake up.

i think the dream is a sign about a difficulty rising above the father figures in your life. Crashing at top notch speed!!!!!!! there is no hope for you my son

Giving the dream a lot of thought and contemplation it honestly struck me as an event similar to Shakespeare plays regarding father -son relations I'm not saying your dream isn't unique and personally complex, what i am saying is that perhaps comfort in discovering this dream's meaning might be found in cultural tales or understandings in father- son relationships.... Your amazing , keep dreaming

actually sam after giving it more thought i've realised that before i had the dream i was thinking about how horrible it would be if something happened to my dad so this just happened to exhaust itself through a dream. if you think or worry about something a lot during the day, chances are you will dream about it or have a nightmare..

(Ooooooooh you canadians, you're just so otherly and over there.) That's a very interesting self interpretation. It makes the dream more meaningful and it's interesting to think about the underlying nature of dream formation. If your father died you would be forced to rise up to become the man of the family, perhaps before you are completely ready. You may be fearing your mistakes like you would while speeding. The parking garage was probably about established order of society, and the people are nice to you out of sympathy of your loss. First there's the meaning and the emotions, then the symbol formation that is probably based on the emotions and what they resemble. For example, a car does not really resemble your course in life, but if you look at it from the other end your course in life may come to resemble a car, at least from the part of the subconcous that forms the dreams. Just a thought.
