      Random Disturbing Dreams

I have posted a thread about my concerned dreaming in the newbie section, but I was told to try and post what my dreams contain, to maybe get a better understanding of what is going on within myself. Although I do not lucid dream (at least I do not think I do), I really am I need of a little advice, insight and help regarding my dreams.

I never remember my dreams completely, usually just the most dramatic parts of the dreams, and the more disturbing images. I would wake up and feel either angry, despressed or anything in between because of what I have dreamt, but not remember it. Frames from my dreams usually come back to me during the day. And just for clarification, I am not a despressed individual. On the contrary, I rather enjoy my life.

      Some images and frames include:
      - tarantula's being submitted under water until dead, and strong images of them floating upside-down.
      - images of a past person I used to know that died about 2 years ago. I was not with him near his death, nor saw his body afterwords, but I had a dream where he just died in a room I was in, and the way he was lying on the ground was quite disturbing to me.
      - myself, walking around in my house, and it being awkwardly dark and cold inside, and a strong feeling that there are others in the room that want to hurt me or cause some form of damage onto me, but I can't see them, my vision is blurred, and a sense of panic seems to rise.
      - extreme suffering in my dreams of things I cannot completely remember, but that pain seems to stay with my when I wake, and last through the duration of the day.

I have had many other dreams that are a bit concerning to me, but I cannot clearly remember my emotions or the events of most of my dreams. I usually know how my dream went with my attitude during the day, and for some reason, my dreams always seem to involve a form of pain, freight, suffering, or just plain awkwardness.

As much as you may enjoy your life it's evidential that SOMETHING is bothering you, and I'm guessing it's undeveloped potential or a repressed desire.
There's a method I forgot the name of where you pick one thing at a time, pretend to be it yourself, position yourself as you pretend to be it, then talk about yourself and describe what you are like.
The tarantula's especially get my attention. Spiders can represent many things but often a kind of wisdom. I might focuss on what the tarantulas want to do.
You may or may not have the initiative to actually try this but it if you do then it will be a way to shed some light.

I actually have had a lot of my desires repressed due to many various factors. All my passions are usually just sidetracked, and my responsibilities (like mind-depleting, life leeching school corporations for example) restrict me from gaining further insight in the areas I love most. I am actually very surpised you mentioned that.

I do not fully understand what you mean. I pretend I am the tarantula, and I then think of what a tarantula would like to do? I know it sounds dumb, but I cannot think of what a tarantula might like or want to do. Only thing I can think of, in relation to a tarantula, is that it has something I have wanted for quite some time, freedom. But this relates to all non-human species.

Thanks for the insight either way. Your first sentence has really caught my attention. I will try and look into it a bit more.

I have just experienced one of the most interesting nights of my life. This dream I had a few nights ago, was just made into reality last night around 4:00am. The power went off around this time, and I awoke immidiately. The same vision, experience, and feeling I mentioned in the above post, I felt just a few hours ago. I found it rather disturbing, and went out to take my dog out for a walk in hopes that the light would have returned when I arrive back at my house, but they did not. I spent hours, scrammbling about, trying to find flashlights, and candles, eventually after 2 hours I managed to calm down with a candle in my room.
Incase one wonders, I do have a problem with complete darkness/silence, I do not know why, just a thing I have had all my life. Probably answers your question as to why I was freaking out when the lights went off, as most people would have just stayed sleeping.

as someone said before, i think that there is definitely something going on that is trying to work itself out through your dreams.
Maybe you need to keep thinking about it.
