sickness, the wind, and my kitten

i had a dream a couple nights ago that someone was in my apartment with me and lit a joint. I freaked out because i've developed an acute sensitivity to pot smoke and i dont like to be anywhere near it. i put the girl's joint out with my fingers and asked her what she thought she was doing. The next thing i know i'm sitting on my couch and holding the joint. i accidentally inhaled some smoke and i started to feel really sick. i went into the bathroom and started vomiting, and threw up two of my scarves. i realized that they had been blocking my stomach and keeping me from digesting anything.

last night in my dream i was in my apartment again, (although it didnt look quite like it, i knew it was my home) and it started to get very windy outside. it got so windy that we had to shut all the windows (i made a special point of moving all my plants and candles out of the way first) then i noticed a window was still a crack open, but then i shut it and locked the windows. the windows had already been locked though, so i actually unlocked them and then realized what had happened and then re-locked them again. the wind got so violent that it ripped off people's christmas lights from their buildings. i was a little nervous about the strength of the wind, feeling like my home didnt really provide shelter. when i looked out the window again i saw an old lady in a hat walking ( the weird part is that i live on the 11th floor, andi knew i was on the 11th floor but it seemed like i was on the ground)
also, my sweet kitten who died on ash wednesday was in the apartment with me, giving me all sorts of love.

      any input is much appreciated

Ma'am, just a guess but are you highly conservative?
I'm rather in the middle myself and not a drug user at all.
The woman visitor in your apartment who lights up a joint is your own impulse temptation to do so (such temptation can stem from indirect reasons such as an emptiness inside, or desire to change to another style of life.) But you reacted to it with nausea, went into the bathroom and vomited two scarves that were blocking your digestion. They represented your emotional self-restrictions that were blocking your ability to enjoy Life and therefore have to go.

In the next dream you’re in your inaccurate apartment, which is your way of life. The wind outside can represent your energy and vigor, but the strong wind is your turmoil and stress, possibly argument. The candles are your hope for good luck and good things in small steady amounts, and the indoor plants your desire to be closer to Nature, which you moved out of the way of the windows, your outlook of your life.
The strong wind blew off the Christmas lights meaning that you are not in a Christmas mood. The old lady may be your sense of wisdom, and the hat a role-play or the hiding of something. (It was irrelevant that you live on the 11th floor.) (What did the hat look like?)
The kitten is love itself, perhaps that you do not have.

My take on this is that your way of life isn't all together good for you, you are self-deprived emotionally. You are going to have to make changes in your rules and views to be happy. I would know nothing about the details of such.

i'm actually not conservative at all, i used to smoke pot on and off since i was 12 and i did my share of hallucinogens as well- and it doesnt bother me morally when people smoke, i just cant physically be around it- it makes me sick. so the first part of your interpretation is off. i relate to the emotional thing, but i'm neither in or not in "a christmas mood" thanks for taking the time to respond.
