      Goddess Isis, earth, and sun

Last night I had a dream that I was out in the field somewhere, when I looked up at the sky and saw a bright shining sun, underneath it an icon of goddess Isis, and underneath her, the earth's globe, all three were in circular, sphere like shapes, and all aligned in the sky in a vertical line. I was looking at this in my dream and was amazed at how strange, yet interesting this was. I thought about getting my camera to snap a picture, but did not want to move because I thought this image may dissapear at any moment (and plus I remembered that my camera would probably make a lousy shot of this phenomenon because it takes bad pictures in the dark lol).

I tried to relate this dream to my life in order to get some clues as to what message it holds for me, but could not. I was thinking that it may mean something along the lines of a trinity of some sort... maybe each representing the spirit, flesh, and a bright path(represented by the shining sun).. but I'm really not sure and I'm lost trying to interpret it. Can anyone help me?

The scene suggests a situation that can pertain to your field or area of expertise or interest - one in which things may be "looking up" where you give honour or respect to the limitations imposed by the heavens/God (look up at the sky). The three sphere-like shapes can represent a spiritual issue. This seems confirmed by the sun and icon of Isis.

The sun is the chief symbol of (a masculine) God who is the giver of light and life. The icon of Isis would symbolize the idea of a female Creator - the idea of a Goddess. The earth's globe can represent all that is of the earth or of a physical nature. In your mind, a spiritual issue has been set up in a way that can suggest a spiritual trinity consisting of God, Goddess and the earth/the physical and perhaps also Nature - one you see working in a gaining direction
(aligned in a vertical line) as well as being aligned with God.

Things to note here are (1) that God (as the masculine) is at the top. (2) The whole while seeming very spiritual because of the sphere shapes is based upon the world or worldly thinking (globe at the bottom) and what is of the
world or the flesh is not technically spiritual. In the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, while the Son was physical and of flesh, He is also believed to be God. The globe/earth or Nature is not a substitute aspect of God.

Snapping a photo of the phenomenon would imply wanting to retain the image of this trinity as an unchanging picture or idea but the True Self is not doing this, and with reasons. Reason one, it is recognized that the image being seen is not designed to be a lasting or permanent image or idea. (I thought this image would disappear at any moment) As is obvious, only the sun would be an lasting unchanging image while the icon of Isis and the earth are but
projections of a human mind. Reason two, while you are seeing a bright shining sun which would imply you are in the light, note that the True Self has chosen to act "as if" you were actually in the dark. (my camera takes bad pictures in the dark) This would imply you are not seeing the set up trinity - one involving a female goddess or Creator and Nature - with knowledge and intelligence. [Are you into Wicca?]

Hi. First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed dream interpretation, I appreciate it a lot. That is a lot of information to take in at once, so I will be re-reading your post so all of the information can properly sink in. In regard to Wicca, I wouldn't say that I'm into it, but I was interested in learning about it and have read some literature on it. Right now I'm kind of on a spiritual quest because I don't really identify with my birth given religion, and so I just read information about various religions and beliefs in hopes of finding one that I identify with mostly. It's kind of difficult finding one true path, since so many are out there, and who's to say which is true and which is not... Many religions contradict each other, so even when I come across one which embodies the principles I believe in, I often find a contradiction within it based on other information from other religions, or from my own judgment. Did certain symbols of my dream symbolize aspects of Wicca? I read somewhere that WIcca is a worship of nature and various goddesses, but as far as I know, I might be way off. What about you, are you into Wicca? Also, you seem to be very knowledgeable in symbology, is this something you learned on your own as a hobby?

I am pleased that my interpretation has given you some food for thought. It is my personal opinion that a dreamer has the right to be shown on what the interpretation is based. This can only be done by a detailed interpretation which
translates the recorded dream almost sentence by sentence.

In answer to your questions, firstly, yes - certain symbols did suggest Wicca, namely the goddess concept and the idea of the world/the flesh or Nature as both appear to have been given a spiritual connotation in your dream (which is indicated by the sphere-like shapes).

Personally I am not into Wicca although at one time I was very interested. My own spiritual quest led me to study dreams and when I finally found the "code", one based upon a meaningful and logical understanding of dream images, the dreams themselves brought me back to my original religion, Christianity. I have seen in dreams of people - especially Wiccans - many signs that they are not on an enlightened path. It might be worth noting that the sun, which is a symbol of God, the Creator can also be referring to The Son, Jesus, and that the sun we see in our heavens is a real everlasting light.

The meaning in symbols is something I learned on my own - after many years of effort and much trial and error. I would just like to say, do not believe everything that has been written on the subject.
