Help me with this recurring dream please?

If anyone could help me interpret this dream, that would be great. I keep having it and I really want to know what it means but I can't come up with anything.

Okay, so in my dream I always somehow stumble upon a public pool and I enter, and magically I am wearing a bathing suit so I go for a swim. The public pool is unfamiliar to me (I have never been there or seen it), it is cramped and a little dark, it is also fenced in and surrounded by many green trees. Anyway, the people surrounding me are all strangers, and I get out of the pool, and look over and I see this guy I know. The whole dream I feel emotionless and a little sad, then when I see this guy I get a little bit happier and suddenly have this huge longing feeling. Sometimes in the dream he will notice me, sometimes he won't. Everything in my dream from this point on is blurry and the theme of the dream changes completely, and I usually wake up shortly after.

So some background information about me: I'm a freshman in high school and this guy that I see in my dream is a senior. I have always had this big thing for him , but I rarely see him and thus we never have had a chance to meet, I also know little about him. And him being so much older than me, he feels completely out of reach. I have childhood memories of going to a public pool in my old neighborhood with my family and friends, but that one was huge and sunny most of the time.

      Any thoughts?

      Hello annalisavk,

Your dream could mean that good things might not come easy.

For example, the green trees on the outskirts of the pool could represent your comfort zone, a place where you feel relaxed. The pool full of strangers are the things you need to go through to get to what you want, in this case, it’s the guy. The guy can represent any number of things but this is the most obvious. Also, when the guy does not notice you in the dream, it could mean that not all things are worth stressing yourself out about.

      I hope this helped.

That's interesting and possibly true, thank you.

I'm also kind of intrigued because I read on another dream website that pools signify you will have a happy and pleasurable love life , but it sounds like they pulled that one out of their a**. Supposedly strangers symbolize a part of you that is hidden or repressed. I still can't seem to make much sense out of my dream though
