This morning I had to do with millionaires building railroad tracks in a desert. After they spent millions, the tracks were covered pretty deep with dirt and stuff. It looked just like a desert again. There was some insurance policy or something where the millionaires could get a million dollars back but when I looked at the list with all of the millionaires listed, only one millionaire requested and got the money back. I thought it was unfortunate that most of the millionaires did not care enough to get the money back because they were millionaires and had many million anyway.
Can anyone explain it?
Should I give some background? This is the last week of my second semester in college (in New England, not in a desert), so my summer break will be coming up soon. I am planning on taking a year off to go to Kansas City. Also, I don't have a job yet set up for the summer, and I am a little worried about exams, and other existential things... I doubt that helps though.
