      soccer dream...wierd

So i have had this dream twice but a little different each time. The dream starts with me in an indoor soccer field. In both dreams im not really on the team but i just show up and want to play and its my friend on the team so they just let me join. It was pretty cool, it felt just like i was playing soccer but the only difference was that when i would run...i would run on air. I dont know why i didnt become lucid but its not a big deal. It was like i was running on ice, I couldnt exactly control where i was going or what i did. An example would be liek i wanted to shoot the ball but i pretty much whiffed and just passed it and the otehr guy scored. I dont know why i have had this dream twice, both times it was in the exact same indoor field wtih all the same people, anyone have a explaination?

My interpretation, and I could be completely wrong, is based on what that dream would mean to me if I were having it. Dreams totally depend on context, usually a context unique to the person. But i would say your dream world is asking you to explore a vast open space containing the people you know. The dream may be encouraging you to explore and "give" something like your time, attention, or thought, to your friends, just like you passed the ball to one of your friends. The dream might be about an effort to create more connected friendships

now that isnt even an interpretation or an opinion. its the simple part of what i would take from that dream if it were mine. but the best thing to do with repreat dreams is to analyze the environmental details and more importantly the emotions you remember from the events of the dream - i think those two are linked. since it is a very interesting dream and is bordering on a lucid dream, you could try to formulate some dream signs and use them to further your lucid dreaming. sorry for the ramble

Okay, the thoughts that are occuring to me:

Slipping on ice = loss or lack of control, helplessness...

Also, it seems like in the dream, what you do doesn't "succeed", and it's the other people who are having all the "success"... you're getting outshone by them, they're scoring goals, etc...

That's all I can think of at the moment... a little more background info about you, your friends, soccer, etc, may help... then again, it may not... meh. But yeah. I've probably not been much help, but meh...
