      Shot in the Face

I've been shot point blank a few times in dreams. This usually happens after I move apartments or start a new semester in school and whatnot. I'm wondering why I have these dreams cause they scare the sh*t outta me and then I wake up pronto. I can usually stop the bullet before it makes contact but I wake up at that very second as well.

seems pretty obvious--anxiety about moving into a new situation. drink more tea and relax.

What means do you use to stop the bullet?

I definately agree with the anxiety angle.

Shot in the face: fear of losing face, the Japanese expression for humiliation.

      Issue to work through--that's all.

Best luck, but I really do want to know what means you used to stop that bullet, because it may be key.

      8) <-- this is what I often look like when I feel anxiety.

I don't know how the bullet gets stopped. It's like the dream freezes at the moment immediately before impact, everything just slows down and then it's gone.

i agree with the above posters on the anxiety option. once in a really vivid dream I was stocking shelves in a store i worked at in real life and then was shot by someone with a machine gun. i summed it up to being sick of monotony. like you id dint feel the bullets, no slowing down though, and i woke up when i realiezd i didnt get hurt.
