      Eagles, Birds...

Before I get in to the meat of this dream, I'd like to point out that it happened several months ago before the other dream I posted. It's cemented in my head. It's also miraculous to me just how real everything seemed during the dream. It wasn't lucid, but I think I started to become Lucid and it caused me to wake up.

I'll start, I'm a 19-year-old, mildly suicidal guy who's in to music, computers, eastern religion, astronomy, astrology, and anything I can get my hands on to read. I practice zazen, but am not a Zen Buddhist or Buddhist (although lately I've considered going to a monastary and committing myself to that path.)

I'm attracted to weird imagery, especially anything patterned or fractal, naturally anomolous, or highly symmentrical. (My favorite bands are Pink Floyd and Tool, both of which I was attracted to at around age 8 because of the insane imagery in the videos.) So this may explain some of the imagery in my dreams.

I've had vivid dreams ever since I was really long, but for a long period I couldn't remember my dreams, then suddenly they started appearing again.

I'd also like to point out that before the reappearence of my bizzarre dreams, I got very heavily in to rituals that involved ethneogens and the like. I'm not condoning the use of drugs, but for me it was a very positive experience and very spiritually uplifting (and also resparked an interest in eastern religion and philosophy that had long since been gone like the fantastic dreams.) I've been through the Peyote Phoenix ritual, I've read more Timothy Leary books and documents than any one else could stand, and I've kicked myself for ever thinking these things were paths to enlightenment. (once again I figured I'd put this here because it helps explain the reemmergence of my dreams.)

All that rambling aside, here's the dream. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I think that this would be much easier to interpret than the last dream I posted.

The dream, where I remember, started with me sitting at my desk, with the window beside it open and the blind all the way up. It was winter so the tree outside of it was bare (Which is what makes the birds being present so odd). Something caught my attention in the sky, and I looked, at first I thought it was stars twinkling, but it was a cluster and they seemed too big to be stars, so I decided to reevaluate my assumption. I then thought it was planes warring in the sky (the lights were blinking behind a cloud that ONLY covered the twinkling)

As soon as the thought occurred to me that it could be war planes, I came to the conclusion that it was in fact not possible, because they were all remaining in one spot. Then I thought "birds" which still doesn't make sense, but at the very moment I thought that a flock of birds came out of the sky.

One of them was a gigantic eagle, that sat on the biggest branch that was eye level with me inside of my room looking out of my bedroom window, it perched with its wings halfway open, not closed completely and not open as to display the inside of them, just kind of hunched inward. It looked right at me.

All around it were the little magpie-like birds that I described in my other post (which is what makes me remember dreams or causes me to become lucid now) tons of them, sitting all over my roof, and perched all over the tree, they were all looking at the eagle. White bodies, heads, and beaks with black long tails.

My mouth agape, I decided that I had to show some one else about this and tried to scream, I couldn't and woke up.

      My take on it

Well im never completely sure if im right or wrong but it is my take so here i go.
Right i think the window might be something to do with the outside world. Windows show us a view of he outside world and we live inside. As you stare out the window it is your outtake of life. You are living inside of your mind and your veiwng the out side with the window.
The window is open with the blinds fully open meaning that you will except anything into your life and let the outside world come into you but because it is winter it means your view on life is desertles and the dead tree is the tree of life and how you think that life has no meaning due to your suicidal thoughts. As you are letting these thoughts in something catches your eye.
This my mean that something in your life has caught you into gazeing into this light.
The light might repersent that your goals our to far and you can't reach out. This is why it seems to catch your eye because you are looking at and uncompleteable task and it makes you think. The clouds are your doubts and it covers the light of your goals
War is at the bottom of all human acts in an ethical kind of way and you assume this as you are at the bottom of your life. The plane represnets the flight and how you could get up there but as this is war you think war against your goal is stupid as you disgared this.
You then think of birds which is the sign of freedom as you can travel any wear and their might still be a glimmer of hope.
As you see the flock a great mighty eagel is there with them and eagels are bold and courages and show leadership.
It sits on the biggest branch which is the biggest aspect of you life. It stares at you and show its wings half way in the hopes it can beckon you closer and closer.
This might mean that it wants you to become what you ware ment to be or it might beckon you to go into the depths of despire. Which ever is your biggest aspect in your life, if it is to get to your goals or to slump into the darkness it is beckoning you closer.
The other birds are showing respect to it as they gaze upon him or gazeing at it's might meaning you must not defy him the egeal or you might suffer greatly.
As you want to scream to tell someone you can't as you have no control, you must heed the warning and beckoning of the eagel or you might never tell the any one about your acomplishments.
I personly think its beckoning you closer to reach your goal in life and become a leader and show couarge that you can make it through your suicidal thoughts and to achknoweledge life is life and we must all go through it.
You have to walk out of your mind and go out of the window and go up that tree, the tree of your life and sit upon the biggest branch. Then i am sure winter will become summer and the tree will bare leaves and im sure it will grow to your goal. The eagel might be your dream guide or it might be a healper but i'm sure it will come back in your dreams one day. If it is about your worst achevement or good one i am sure it will comeback.
Im sure that the winter will become spring to summer to autumn to winter and shall repeat. Our lifes are the changing seasons. Spring is hope and new life and we can look differently on the world. Summer is of growth and happiness and we are enriched into doing the right things. Autumn is of fall and the biggening of a period of sleep and we must preper for the upcoming sleep and to put hopes into others. Winter is of death, plains of joy our filled with despire but there will always be hope in form of a light guiding us into doing the right and is keeping our hopes up and to show us all the evil deeds we have done.
We all experence the seansons of the soul and as life does we do and there is no escaping that.
You have to open your eyes and you must see that even though your unhappy, happiness is all ways waithing behind the corner waithing for you to come by.
Without sorrow we will never ever fully understand or feel the full impact of happiness
I hope you get through your probleams.
Im not afraid of the dark, its whats in it.
*the lights turn off and the whole room goes dark*
Oh im fin- Ahhhhhhhh its a scary figment of my imagination.

I appreciate your effort with interpretting it, but I think you're making too much of it all, I don't think the dream was quite as profound as you think it was. The window, for example, was probably just a window, and I don't think every thing represented a stance of sorrow or joy, considering during the dream I felt neither. I felt nothing but amazement at the eagle and all these little birds, and was moreso amazed at the little birds because I had seen them before, but only in other dreams. Before this amazement, it was just indifference.

Also, it was somewhat hard to read your interpretation because you didn't seperate anything in to sections (not a slam, just saying that you might want to seperate sections in the future so it's easier to read).

I appreciate your interpretation, don't get me wrong, I'd like to get others' opinions too, though.
